UEFA Champions League/Europa League 23/24/25 October *** Spoilers ***

Think I'll watch the Celtic game tonight, lets see how many they can rattle past a defence of Alves, Mascherano, Song and Alba, a quartet that wouldn't look out of place in midfield :)

a win would be a miracle

A draw would be a miracle.

A respectable loss would be a miracle.

Haha. :D

I can see us being fired up against Schalke, Norwich put in a good defensive display but we didn't look at the races on Saturday. Hopefully that will be rectified on Wednesday and we can pretty much put ourselves through to the knockout stage. I'm not fearful of Huntelaar so long as we can cut his service, speaking of whom I believe he can talk with other clubs in January, wouldn't mind a bit of that at the Emirates. :)

lol, perfect way to end that little bit of discussion.

killswitch, did you see how Schalke beat Dortmund on the weekend? They can be ruthless at times with Huntelaar up front. Dortmund were playing a 3 at the back however.

Here's my call for the team vs Braga

- - - -- - - - - - - Lindegard - - - - - -
Rafael - - - Wooton - - Evans - - Buttner

- - - - - - - - - - - -Fletcher - - - - - - -

- - - - - - - -Kagawa - - - - - Cleverley

- - - - - - - - - - - - Rooney - - - - - -

- - - - - - - - - RVP

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Welbeck - - - -

Subs, De Gea, Valencia, Young, Carrick, Anderson, Chicho, Nani

Which leaves Carrick, Evra, Rio well rested for the Chelsea and Arsenal games coming up but with still a very experienced side who should be more than good enough to beat Braga (even if they are a better team away from home).

On form, at home, the above should get lots of goals and give experience to the likes of Wooton and Buttner (which will be invaluable in the coming months)

When it's Champions League time, we don't (and shouldn't) care about anything else. ;):p

Booo! You don't know what you're missing out on  Although I doubt I could find another member of the forums who's find Coventry at home on a Tuesday night a tempting experience! :p

OI! I went to Coventry away twice last season :p

Coventry at home on a Tuesday night would be loads more fun than sitting about watching champions league I don't care much about (and loosing every Saturday/Sunday game).

I miss lower league :(

I watched the West Ham game with my best mate (Soton fan) I don't know who found it the least fun tbh :p
