Anyone here Getting Frame drops on goal kicks or corners? But it dont happen every time, some corners will be fine while the next will frame drop very bad?
Was hoping 12.11 drivers with CAP1 would solve this but it still happens.

I just bought a new monitor, so I'm using a higher resolution. My game is running really slow, even though fraps reports 60fps constantly. All I've done is increased the resolution in fifaconfig :confused:

Any ideas? It's almost as if the game speed is in slow motion.

I'm not getting any slow downs at any time. It runs completely smoothly.

AMD Athlon II quadcore 3.1 ghz
Nvidia 560 ti
4gb ram
1920 x 1200 res

What resolution ? I run it in windowed mode at full resolution and click on the window and I have no stutter @2560x1440 if I just run it full screen it stutters all the time and I experience slow down.

1680x1050, I was previously using 1280x768. Like I said, I get 60fps at this higher resolution but the game just runs so slow. I'll try it in a window.

Running a Q6600, AMD 6870 and 4gb ram. This should be ample right?

Just tried in windowed mode and it's still slow. Fraps is still reporting 60fps. Tried increasing the game speed but it still seemed like it was in slow motion.

Weird, did you Disable windows aero theme and have wait for vsync turned on. Just using my settings in case they help. I also have it set to no limit on fps.

Just tried all of that, still the same. Even tried it on my old resolution and the game still runs in slow mo :confused:

Yeah I have no explanation for the lack of performance, I guess you can mess around with the rendering and msaa settings and hope that changes something, speaking of windowed mode though you did full screen it as it doesn't maximize by default

I cant figure out the tactics to give what I want (short passing game).

I even copied the barca settings and they have a green tick next to them which I guess means they are my default tactics. But every time I get the ball in midfield, everyone runs away from the ball! :mad:

I wish there was something in fifa 13 that alerts you if the player is a quiter, that quits when there loosing, and when the game match makes you it would say something..

It could be in game lag? Does it slow down offline as well as online?

yeah, I get offline 'lag' / stutters for ~0.5s sometimes

Anybody help me with this issue? I moved all of my Origin games to a new hard drive (big mistake). Origin detected most of the installed games ok, but had to redownload several. Fifa started on 69% so had to download 31%. A pain when you have a slow connection. Anyway, it finally finishes and I go to fire up a game... I get as far as the following screen and nothing. The loading reticule just spins, but nothing happens. I have tried repairing install but Origin says no files were missing or corrupt.
