GeForce 310.33 Beta Drivers

I gained 4 points in heaven using these betas. No crashes in any games so far but not really noticed any fps gains

To be honest there was nothing wrong with the 306.97 WHQL drivers.

What people should test with this set are some older games. This release removes support for some older video cards. It's possible that some tweaks made for older titles got culled too.

Well after extensive gaming/internet and a film, I have not had a single freeze. Without jinxing myself, I am certain these drivers are no good for my set up.

He rolled back to 306 as on 310 he was getting random crashes. They seem to have gone on the 306 so seems the 310 drivers were no good on his system.

Sorry. The latest betas were causing hard lock ups. I rolled back to not have a single lock up (as of yet).

May be this is a conflict the X79 PCI-e work around .
As tried driver with Gen 2 with no issues so far.

Will have a play after work to confirm

I don't need the X79 PCI-e work around to run Gen 3 but the system still froze up with SLI.

Hope you have better luck.

I also found on one card the performance is not as good as 306.23

I couldn't go a couple of hours with these without a lock up and could possible be something to do with the work around.

Shame the drivers aren't stable for you Gregster, let's hope the whql's give you the same increases and stability too

It's all good and glad I found out it was the drivers and not something I had broken with my overclocking.

OT. Could you pop over to DHL's sortation facility and pick my water blocks up please and then drop them off to me? They have been sat in the depot since 6:30

Clamp & LOD bias no longer working in D3D9.

Having some lod problems in a number of games myself! had to force them

Wouldn't recommend these drivers, had a couple of lockups in games, so reverted back to the 306.79's.
