Windows 8 who's buying/upgrading

I may try this on my laptop first ,then if I like it put it on my desktop.

If I buy the digital copy for £24.99 does that have the option for a clean install also?

thanks:)

You can do a clean install.

The only thing we are unsure how it will work. Is if you can install and upgrade on a formatted drive and just type in the old serial key. Or if you need to put/leave the old windows on and upgrade form there.

Once one is granted the free Pro Pack and WMC are the keys reusable for any reinstalls of Windows 8 after January?

£25 leading to all of this seems quite unreal so pardon the scepticism.

I have a copy of Vista x64 (OEM) that I have not used for a long time and the PC it was installed on as since been taken apart and is no longer in use.

Would I be able to upgrade the copy of Vista to Win8 Pro and install Win8 Pro on my current PC, which is a different spec from the orginal Vista install?

Would it no just be easier to type Yes/No?

Or do you enjoy the feeling of power ;)

LOL what power? No it's just the same question being asked over and over again and it's been answered numerous times, nothing to do with power, just can't be bothered replying with the same answer when people can't be bothered to read the information already there.

If it works like the previews, you will be provided with a key, keep it safe and it should be reusable.

The Add Features allows you to either go to the store to buy a key (free til Jan) or add an existing key.

So you should be ok, we'll find out for certain tomorrow as the WMC keys go live when the upgrades do.
