So the link in your quote for £49.99 will allow me to upgrade from the Win 8 preview ok?
I am saying Win 8 preview it's a timed out version/key which end next year, I think February... which means after that date Win 8 preview won't activate again

this method is well known plenty of users have done it. dont make this guy confused
I'm all installed, Office, steam , origin etc. Media centre update installed and not a single problem everything works perfect.
I'm really quite impressed with this windows release, MS seem to have delivered a decent stable version of Windows that actually improves on the previous without breaking stuff in the process.

Tried that mate, gone tp personalize, the startup. But all that does is change my user profiles lock screen and metrp dash colour scheme.
When I login from boot or log out of my profile it still goes back to blue.
Have you set a static colour for the windows, or is it set to auto, if it's auto it will change depending on the wallpaper.

no ur fine. your upgrade key is fine. it will activate and install full pro version. many have done it

So the win 8 preview, upgrade for £24.99 and i'll get PRO with a full code to install as and when I need? If so I'll be doing that tonight

Look lads. here is what u do to buy and use a upgraded version of pro:
1. download the win 8 preview/demo
2. install it.
3. load up the upgrade assist and follow instructions on purchasing pro for £25
4.once purchase , download the upgraded files and dump them on a usb stick or whatever
5.install the badboy and it will activate instelf.
DONE

Win 8 preview times out next year so if he upgrades his hdd he won't be able to install Win 8 preview again then upgrade to full versionnow im confused
also the setup downloader copys some windows files after download which we don't know what files, it may copy the bomb out timer from Win 8 preview

I know this might sound controversial but after doing a lot of testing tonight I don't even think Microsoft are checking of certain details are genuine..
But hey big clap for Microsoft... one way to prevent piracy is to actually sell a product at a reasonable price then people will not have reason to pirate.

ahh ok because to do a reinstall he needs win 8 preview or another legit cd key from a previous win OS?
is there an way to get the task bar so that the icons for open apps only appear in the screen there on? At the moment I can have firefox open on screen 1 and the icons is repeated on bother screens taskbar
