Around 12 years on this forums now..

Im just thinking how much of my life Ive spent staring at these forums.

I originally joined Pre forum nuke at a time of the first era of good Overclocking chips. AMD Duron and Thunderbird Athlons if I remember correctly.

Its quite weird thinking how much my life was different at the times when I was posting back then. Looking at a big Compaq CRT screen, sitting in a big baggy tshirt and weighing about 10 stone.

Now I sit infront of a 27 inch screen, weighing 15.5stone, having been through a crazy decade of drinking, partying, failing relationships, making friends, working 3 jobs, joining the RAF and countless other experiences I cant think to mention.

This community has been with me all along the way. Its really quite a large part of my life coming on here. Both on Mobile and on PC.

And Im certainly not alone in this.

Some of you newer members will find yourself in this same position some way down the line. Lets hope the forum never dies

October 2002 was after the nuke, anything before then, well, I'm sure you can guess by the term "nuked"...

The forum was nuked in October 2002. So most of the people registering around then have been here since before that nuke.

It's both strange and nice to think that I've 'known' some members here for longer than some of my everyday friends! The longevity of these forums is pretty cool, nice to think that it's a good enough community (GD, who'd have thought) that folks have kept browsing and posting for 10+ years.
