Around 12 years on this forums now..

Been here since 2006. Post count is low because I read and my opinion isn't worth your time haha. Some great threads on this forum over the years. Good work people :D

I'm another pre-nuker, having joined in about 1999 I think. I was 30 at the time. In those 13 years I've moved house twice, moved job twice, been treated for a major illness, held my dads hand as he died, got married, and had two kids. My life is so different now.

Wow good post, really puts things into perspective. I'd overlooked some major parts of my own life. Like My nephew being born and my grandfather dying. All in my membership period here.

This is a great community, one or if not the best. We all have great fun while learning at the same time. It is a quick moving forum too, when you refresh there is always something new going on. :)

Well Said Op.

I have shared my experiences, offloaded my worries and gained knowledge from these forums. In a sense, as I know I can always rely on it, I could class OcUK as a friend.

I too joined Pre-Nuke, back in 1999/2000 if memory serves me. I think I joined a couple of months after the VB change over. My First Purchase from Ocuk was a Thermoengine and Delta Screamer which I blew my Mainboard fan header up with. The advice I got back then was the reason I stayed for so long :)

When I joined the forum I was single, at uni in a lively city, unemployed and loving life. Now I live in West Yorkshire, have a job and a long-term girlfriend.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!

My posting habbits have changed over the years... I go through phases.

Starting out spamming GD, then moving over to mainly posting in consoles, then to mobile phone forum. now I mainly only post in PC gaming and the pr0n forum.

I also remember when the forum was blue ;)

Almost 10 years for me, with such a low post count too :(

When I joined I was single, unemployed, couldn't drive and living in Leicester.
I am now single, employed, have a car and living in the same house. Nothing much has changed :( :p

This does it for me, No matter what time you browse there is always something going on.

I've been here a while now & don't want to kill as many people as I used to. :p

Why do I keep hearing people talk of a pr0n forum? is this some elaborate troll which i'm not understanding?

I haven't been here long myself, but its a great community. Spend hours reading these boards. Always useful for advice and a debate.

Long live OCUK.

I've been around since the beginning 1999 when Mark (Spie) first started the forums and we had dancing girls on the shops main page! I remember the HeXus split and all the hassle the folding team (back then it was Seti@Home) had from Team Pickard (I Think).

So many years and so many different faces (well aliases) have come and gone some good and some very stupid!

OcUK we salute you! And to Spie for having the vision to do what he did and bring it all together so well!

I've been here since around 1999/2000. In my personal life, I've moved house several times, been married twice, lost both parents to cancer, and had a lovely niece and nephew born. In my forum life, I've been a normal poster, I've been a MoH, I've been an UB, a Don, forcibly removed from the positions, suspended, permabanned, and now back as a normal poster. Some of my best friends I met through these forums. Some of the most annoying things have happened to me directly because of these forums.

And I'm still here.
