They all seem to be MSI TF's to.Yer I have no idea bud but you have to admit that there has been a number of faulty cards being reported of late?

So many of them are. I went back through this forum looking at duff cards and so many were MSI
Annoys me to see, as I have 2 MSI Lightnings and when I took them apart to put the water blocks on, they are built with so much quality. Hopefully this poor standard isn't a sign of things to come.
I hope so, I do like MSI as a brand, they cater the majority of their 'high end' parts to overclocking, but surely in doing so they must check these supposed high end parts.
We'll see how the RMA process go's before I cast final judgement, I've emailed the MSI rep to see if its possible to cut the middle man out and go direct to MSI.
I think all these problems are to do with MSI, not AMD. It's hard to recommend nvidia with their awful prices ATM
LOL, theres been now couple threads in a week about AMD cards which scares me off buying their products!![]()
id still buy amd cards, mine have been the best cards ive ever owned,ok so i admit some folks have been having badluck but you cant tar all amd products or their drivers as the same, ive never had a failed card since the x1950 pro days
all you can do is rma and hope it all gets sorted
If someone continually had bad luck with a certain brand of GPU, I wouldn't blame them for changing.
I'll still buy amd again without a doubt, it's msi I'm now cautious over, that could change should they compensate me with a boost edition lightning however![]()
New motherboard had a faulty pci lane which in turn has crippled my lightning, so back on the ud7 with an 8500gt. Cleee is very kindly sorting me out with a 460 as a temp card until msi sort this mess out for me
I hope for msi's sake and my sanity that the rma process is swift and painless.
