Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

I'm not far behind with 253 hours played . Almost catching up with Skyrim at 293 hours.

Goes to show how good a game it is. Definitely got my moneys worth with this game and still more dlc to come.

Just got Heroes Pass to go in PT2, how hard is it going to be?

I've got a kick-ass lvl 50 shotgun (non elemental) that can fire 2 rounds each doing 8k x 14 that also has a really fast reload time, making me fire out Shock n Awwws at quite a rate. It eve lets me run up to Constructors and crit them in the eye for 100s of ks :D

Saving my gold keys for lvl 50 has been worth it, hehe.

Tempted to respec my Mechro though and give Anarchy a try, especially given this shotty's power. Thinking fully Anarchy with enough middle tree for Shock n Awww again.

Take your time and it will be easy enough. Trick is to seperate them when they come it huge groups. The hardest part is that entrance from the chasm into the facility just before the first constructor lands as they all drop at once.

He has some nice weapons there, dont understand how he can have a 200 backpack, or has he edited that?

yea he has deffo hacked/cheated all those weapons, because i've never seen any of them before; this game just doesn't drop good snipers like it used to, plus his backpack is massive, he's a serious Borderlands gamer so he probably traded for most of those as well.

the last game used to drop every type of weapon, but this doesn't, it keeps the ``legendaries in reserve``, but he has got Legendary weapons that you just cant get...so there you go !!!!

those E-Tech snipers are working ok now, because when you get rid of the cheat it gives you back all your skill points, this causes the recoil/ cursor sway to return to normal...because it was dreadful before, plus it gives you back the critical hit damage etc, that cheat is gone for good now, i opened the case too many times and found nothing new, it's spoiling the gaming too addictive to keep looking!

the best weapon seems to be the conventional Jackobs at 32 000 damage + 15% crit......all the others kill fine but lack that initial punch that the Jackobs has....but it's only really for a patient sneaky sniper like me :D it's deffo no good for melee'.

Thats the one thing that annoys me about these bosses. Your skill is irrelevant really. Its all down to stuff like Plasma Casters, The Bee, Conference Call and generally certain legendaries rather than your competency with the character. Its really hard to get motivated to fight a boss who will just randomly blast away all your shield and 90% of your health and if you time it wrongly, finish you too with a AoE attack that is almost entirely undodgeable.

we agree on something :D

yea there is no skill required in killing those bosses at all, they're probably not worth killing anyway, i dont think legendary gear will help you.... because to be honest you need God mode.... they simply have way too much health, yes you can run around in circles and never die, but sooner or later you have to stop and fire, this is when they get you.... every bloody time !

it's pure 100% frustrating !

At least 48 of those hours are where i left it running while out. But otherwise yes, it's pretty solid.

i'm gaming from 5pm to about 2am every day, so yea i dread to think how many hours this is, i play the same repeat areas over and over again, i'm in Sawtooth Couldron for hours on end

Would someone offer me a bit of advice.

I was trading in some games yesterday and saw borderlands 2 there, in a moment of weakness I bought it. Now I know that it is meant to be good fun in co op but I don't have any friends that play the game on PC. I'm not sure If I should try the game just as single player and random co op or take it back and swap it.
(The game is still in its cellophane wrapper)

Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't done any co-op yet, and have had well over 50 hours of fun from the game. I hate hack n slash isometric loot games (Diablo, etc), but love FPS loot game :D

I have not played too many games like it, I tend to stick to FPSs and RTSs.

The closest game that I may have played to it is Skyrim which I liked, and Fallout NV which I did not. How does it compare to those games, if at all?

Fallout and Skyrim are FPS RPGs, this is FPS with RPG elements and lots of loot.

For the record, I didn't like Skyrim or Fallout NV's predecessors.

I don't think I have ever seen a game he liked. His reviewing style wouldn't work if he wasn't making sarcastic negative comments constantly so that's probably why. They're entertaining but i would never use them to judge whether a game was worth buying or not.

Portal and Silent Hill 2 to name a few.
