People on Twitter consistently saying that the discounts are very small, 10% on stuff like laptops etc.

Laptops, tvs, etc are low margin items, many often being ever so slightly below cost price, in the hopes people will be suckered in to the high margin crap like HDMI cables and anti-virus packages.

hell yea comet sale is like DFS sale

its a lie the discounts arent real

Comet gateshead appear to have whacked everythign upto RRP then added a huge 10% off sale!

Some of the electricals had notes on them stating not to sell unless authorised

Most of the boxed goods had been removed from the shelves, with I expect "ex display" only left
