Ask yourself this, would you have liked it if the phones shipped with buggy firmware and you had to return the handset for replacement? :) these delays at least ensure the phone will be working well by the time we get it next year (joking) :)

Honest answer to that would be that i'd prefer nokia had released it with a specific release date for both sim only and contract with stock in the shops on that release day, whether that release day was in a month or a month ago i wouldn't care so long as it was done properly ;)

But we all know that big problems with a phone causes a lot of traffic on the web. Nokia can't really afford the negative publicity, there's already an issue with the camera they are looking at.
 
Been in to town. EE have orange only. No T-mob or EE.
Phones 4U have none.

This is Newcastle Upon Tyne. Not a small city

Ahh. Its was the small plug style one, with the USB port on the bottom.

I use the little apple one to charge my HOX. They are just normal 5v 1A USB chargers. Nothing special.

I know from going into a couple of shops they all have different delivery days? Some get them on a Friday, others the Saturday. My local shop had none today, but said they were expecting them tomorrow :)
 
I've just had an email from CyberPort to saying expected stock arrival has changed from 13/11/2012 to 15/11/2012.

:( really want this phone to arrive...

Just saw this on the Phones 4U Facebook page. Yet another day to wait apparently.
 
Is there any law against a retailer putting something up for sale but refusing to sell it?

Just seems dumb that P4U offer it sim free but refuse to sell it sim free, why even advertise it as available sim free in the first place?

To show how expensive it is compared to buying it on a contract.
