Just got back from going in to two p4u shops in Bristol, neither of which had the 920. Had convinced myself to go for the 820 instead, save the hassle, but Nokia have managed to make me even more angry. Went into 2 P4U, 3 carphone warehouse and tesco mobile, all of them only had 2 or less lumia 820s in stock and all refused to sell on pay and go/sim free. Why have nokia distributed so few handsets at release!?! Do they actually want people to buy their phones!?!

Breaking news: Tottenham Court Road & Oxford Street - London P4U have Black and White handset in stock!

GUYS GUYS GUYS.

I have just seen one in the flesh shock horror! I was going to buy it on Orange, as this is the only ones they had in in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The phone price was £49.99 on £36 / month. But Orange only give you a pappy 1GB of allowance.

Instead I have pre-ordered it on T-Mobile which gives you unlimited data @ £36 / month.

Just got a phone call from bluewater P4U. They have reserved me a black one which that will sell me sim free. Im going to take a look at it later today and buy it if they can't give me a good idea when the red ones are due.

In that situation I would offer to buy some accessories too. They're only interested in making money.

I would have if they had any accessories in, talking to nokia on an online chat thing now and they dont know when the wirless charging shells are available and they are also now denying that all uk lumia 820s will come with a free wireless charging shell which they announced earlier. They are useless.

Is that with the £139.95 handset price Izi?

Nope, £49.99 on T-Mob £36.00 / month. It seems the best deal. The all you can eat data is what I am after. None of this 1GB poop.

So close, yet so far!

Just ordered from computeruniverse.net and got this response from them regarding availability:

The item is not in stock and has to be ordered by ourselves.
We are expecting the item to come in stock until the middle of the next week.

I hope they stand behind their words.

That's good, on the website the handset price is £139.95 on the £36 pm.

T-mobile didn't call me. They hate me. :(

If any of you know any employees of t-mobile, they do a friends & family discount of half price line rental.

For the £36 a month deal, I only pay £18, and that's for life. :)
