Which are which?...are they all 920 or compared to the iPhone?
I cannot see any labeling for each pic.

Ah sorry, I did label them but first time using imgur, of each pair the top is the iPhone.

The 920 pictures look like a flash was used but it just makes everything really bright.

If you view full size from the little cog in the top right after clicking a picture you can see that all of them are pretty poor quality.

Going to take some pictures in the daylight tomorrow to compare.

I assume then in those shots the iPhone uses its LED flash?...coudl you use the LED Flash on the 920 with the iPhone to compare?

I was curious about that.

No flash was used on the iPhone, but like I said, it wasn't pitch black outside, I have security flood lighting about the place.

Give me a few min and I will take a few pictures of my keyboard with both phones, flash on and off.

That would be great, this is your price for actually getting the phone! :p

Not at all mate , that's brill to do that for us, im not really all impressed with what the 920 is showing now if im being honest, the last way which is maybe more important to me is the iS in Movie mode.

Without a flash it's best in class for low light but they really need to rush out a software fix for the lack of detail in better lighting conditions.

A few questions:

Does the 920 always turn on the flash to focus even when you've got it set off?

I seem to recall a review mentioning the default settings have it set to a widescreen mode which isn't capturing full resolution pictures, could you check to verify and if that's the case see if the other ones improve the detail in shots?

Does the mail application in Windows Phone 8 still only sync when there's a new push or you manually refresh? You can test by deleting a mail on your phone then checking it from another client.

I know it's too early to ask this but after a few days could you let us know how well the 920 battery does?

Flash to focus stays off when its set off.

Default mode is 16:9, haven't even looked at changing it to the other option 4:3.
Ill post some daytime pictures tomorrow so you can compare.

Mail only seems to sync when you press the sync button or after the time has passed that you have it set to sync at.
I deleted mail on the phone and refreshed on the PC and nothing changed until I pressed the sync button on the phone.

Will update on the battery as I go.

Good luck today chaps! The four stores in driving distance to me have their deliveries today fingers crossed one will have a yellow one but from previous posts it sounds like I might have to wait a little bit longer.
Happy hunting.

Phones4U tend to use Yodel.

I hope that's a joke? they're bloody awful.

A friend of mine came home to find that they had hung her parcel on a tree.

Looking like we could be seeing a bumper amount of wp8 apps released.

It's looking good.

Until phone sales figures appear and show that (due to exclusivity deals) the sales of WP8 devices is still minuscule. Then devs give up on WP8.
