Just played a couple of hours of this at the launch event.
Playing on LAN so I had zero issues with lag and hit detection obviously. Recoil was quite prominent on the SMGs I found which is promising, no more MP7 whoring.
Nades as Soulja said seem very powerful, best gun I found was the AR25 I think its called? Muddled around with the Pick 10 system and I think its great, so many options. I ran without a secondary most of the time, no tactical nades, gives more options for perks and you just pick up another primary weapon off the ground.
The whole UAV spamming thing to me is no different to Black Ops 1, if anything its harder to get them so you will see less of them. Ghost will now become a favorite for people like me who like to rush.
Maps...out of the few I played I quite enjoyed them, the one on the air craft carrier was a bit mental though. Played Nuketown a few times and got the dogs, oh dear is all I'm saying. The kill feed was as if I was in a gunship on Jungle! Very powerful if people manage to get them.
Knife lunge seems massively nerfed with the standard knife, ps knife camo is epic.
My overall thought is that playing solo objective based games is pretty much a deathwish now unless you're a complete monster. I also don't like the break in Domination games.
The sounds are pretty awesome but...its very hard to hear people as there's a lot of stuff going on, explosions are really loud.
Overall, for the time I played it I did really enjoy it, felt like Black Ops rather than a MW game and with a team I can see this being massive fun.
Roll on Monday night...
