X-Factor 2012

Having to go through xfactor, being criticised by the judges week after week, make it and win, come back a year later and mime to your new single. Something to aspire too.

Well my 9 and 10 year old girls like little mix. However after hearing them ****** this and ****** this in there song tonight, ( before watershed as well ) i shal be encouraging them not to listen to them again as id rather my kids didnt aspire to a foul mothed group

John Lewis do the best Christmas adverts!

Glad Christopher made it through, hopefully he'll get through another few weeks although as soon as he's in the bottom two, I'm sure he'll be gone. I wonder how many of the District 3 votes, Union J will pick up? May see them through another few weeks. The more I see, the more I think that angry James will end up winning.

I hope he gets to the final just so that the pantomine sham of X-Factor is really highlighted. It will serve Cowell right! :D

They weren't swearing and there are no swear words in that song....

Sort of... One of the dumb bints made "feel him" sound like " **** him"

I suppose you could argue Jade made "If I can't" sound a little like "e **** aunt" (49 secs) but 'feel him' sounds like 'feel him' to me....

...but for a parent (MeatLoaf) to be banning their kid listening to a song because some words that aren't swear words sound vaguely like swear words when sang live then that's pretty OTT protective parenting.

Maybe teaching your kids the value of accurate comprehension or listening to others properly would be better lessons. ;)

After listenning again knowing what the lyrics are then yes its obvious what there singing.

However, for a parent such as myself who has not heard the song before it sounded like they said the f word twice.

It was me who thought i heard the f weord not the kids. But if you think its OTT parenting not to want your kids listening to swearing then thats fine, but i for one dont really want my kids to hear it at home. I know you cant really do much about it when there at school and stuff.

I didn't know the words either until I posted them earlier, I also heard them sing and thought "that sounded like they said the F word" but I knew it sounded 'like' the F word and not that they'd said it.

Second verse around I got the exact words. I still find it odd you jumped to the conlcusion they were swearing though.

Anyway, Little Mix weren't the controversial live performance this week. Wand Erection were with their 'Saturday Night' performance that was actually recorded weeks ago....

At the end of the day, each parent has to make their own decisions (right or wrong), in how they want to treat their kids. If good comes of it, the parent will reap the rewards. If bad comes of it, it will be the parents who have to handle the result.

I don't have kids, but I have pets, who can behave like kids. I am VERY strict with one of my pets, because I know how naughty he can be. An outsider may think that I am over the top, but after you have lived with this animal (or a child), it all becomes clear.

BTW, I was under the impression that the XF winner can only release their first (non-cover) single, the 10-12 months after they won the show. But, Little Mix released their first song in the Summer. Has Cowell finally realised that delaying the release of the first album/single, for 1 whole year is detrimental to their careers?
