Cheers for all the comments, looks like unless the weight really still bothers me by the end of the week, this is the phone to stick with.

The 8x could never do a video recording in a club with such great sound as the 920

Im sorry that sells the phone right back to me, clearly some of the Rich Recording tech must have made it into the phone...the bass pickup is amazing!

Also, it picks up the voices, and although shouting you dont get that horrible tin like overload sound from it.

Great phone for bootlegging concerts, that is if you can hold it up long enough :)

They used the same mic system as the 808 I think.

A question for the guys that have got it:

How are you coping with the lack of a notification centre?
Do notifications get lost in the system?

Can you place whatsapp on lock screen notification?

The lack of notification centre is a bit of a pain actually. Interestingly, coming in from IOS I really find that I miss it, despite the fact that I never used it on the Iphone. I think this is because in apps (especially facebook), it is not always obvious what the badge relates to - this could just be a case of getting used to the apps, but I'm not sure.

I do not think that whatsapp can go on the homescreen. Hopefully the app itself will be updated too - it seems to drop some messages, and could use a better mid size live tile.

Really enjoying the phone now, although still having some problems with the mac syncing!

Also a camera update would be nice - pictures are very fixable in post and low light are amazing but a bit more pop and sharpness would be nice for those instant upload shots. (The best of both worlds would be some options - I'm aware that proper photographers will probably appreciate the lack of software mucking around in default daylight shots, but those of us used to iphones etc expect a slightly more garish output straight away!)

Do they have it in white?
Also where can i buy another cheap mains charger for it and a USB charge cable for work?

Just noticed there is no 02 app. Baskets!!!

Is there no thread on here about "Must have Win8Phone apps"?
Or user tips and tricks/theming/customization...etc

Im coming from iOS which ive been using for the last several years so need all the help i can get.
Good point - Just started one so we have somewhere to discuss stuff more general to WP8

I am also now, I connected my phone to a PC and now it says it's been synced with another computer before the WP connector crashing. Looks like I'll have to nuke all the settings in Library and start again.

What do you guys 'sync' these days?

For contacts and calender I use Gmail - add a contact on your phone -> added directly to gmail. Add a contact on Gmail -> contact added to phone. Its live syncing, and does the same for calendar.

The only other thing is music, but why not just drag and drop your music on?

Personally I am using Xbox music which again Syncs like Gmail contacts (but is a paid for service).

Drag and drop doesn't seem to work on a Mac. I can only assume there's a driver to support it under Windows or the phone is using NTFS which the Mac can't mount.
