I didn't on my 4S but screen has a few scratches.
I always kept mine in a slip case when carrying it around. Scratches tend to be from keys.

Probably a grey import from Europe or some other source. Maybe they change the charger over for a UK one? Or perhaps Nokia sold them a few to alleviate all of the negative publicity the EE deal has generated.
Just as an aside, EU law has some pretty powerful protections for consumers in it in these sort of situations - if something is available in Europe, the presumption is that it should be available at a similar price in all or Europe, to attempt to create one large 'super-market'. I suspect this means that there is only so far exclusivity deals can go without running the risk of anti competitive behaviour (and the fines for that are absolutely huge.)
Does anyone know if these £399 orange phones have the same sim lock as the phones4u ones or if they are locked to orange only? I want to use my virgin sim which I know works on phones locked to T mobile but not orange.I have to say that £399 plus £10 for a top up is pretty amazing if only it wasn't locked to EE networks.
Having said that I think that is a worthwhile investment. Eventually it will be unlocked and then we have a chance to make a profit on it.
Are we sure you can actually go into a store and buy one?

Nominate a pocket for your phone and only ever keep your phone in it.
Never mix coins/keys with the phone pocket = scratch free phone.
I have never used phone covers of any type and have never scratch my phone screen bar once, when I put my keys and phone in the same pocket in a ruck sack... never again![]()

Why block the numbers? They have your credit card details!
That's pointless and also suspicious to the seller. I understand why you did it but they have that information and your protected against fraudulent use anyway.

Trouble is, the anti-competitive rules tend to only apply to a dominant company abusing their position. Nokia doesn't have enough market share to qualify for that.
Same here!

Email is not a secure system, it gets relayed via numerous servers on its way to the destination server.
In the past spammers harvested information and email addresses this way.
Therefore you don't trust email with your credit card details. I'm pretty sure the bank would see this as negligence if there was fraud.
Yes, things have improved on the mail server security front but you don't know if your data will end up on someone's laptop and get lost.
