In my opinion, it is much better than BLOPS1! At the moment the PS3 version seems to be going through a few teething problems but Treyarch will fix them ASAP, as Vonderhaar is already on the prowl on twitter asking for exact nature of peoples problems and what region their game copy is.

Zombies, I can't tell you as I haven't touched it yet, will hopefully get a few games on it tonight with a mate.

In regards to MW3, you didn't really miss much lol
 
Picked it up at sainsburys for 360, brought the gf a veg steamer to get the deal lol, we just moved out and it was on the list so not tooo random

So far im impressed with campaign, i skipped mw3 as i wanted a break so feels fresh enough now

For any one wondering about 3d, its ok but not the best out there i turned it off after 2 missions as t was straining my eyes and all the text looked weird! Also the cutscenes werent in 3D which was lazy so definitily an after thought, muh better standard imo
 
Really not getting on with this online at all, can't get over a 2 KS without getting shot in the back or just outplayed. Not worth getting stressed over, to eBay.
 
Its the same feeling MW3 gave me so I know its not good news.

There's not a lot of camping, no deathstreaks so it's not that.

I just cannot kill anyone for crap, its insane.

I get stressed way to easily but I just don't need it so its not worth the hassle it will bring.

I'm the same. Its either people are afraid to move because its new or annoying campers. Both I get totally annoyed and rage quit.

I found something similar with killing, it feels like I get one-shot'd but when I look back at the killcam, someone is emptying a clip into me. I checked my connection and no downloads, running 37mb down/ 8mb up.

Noticed the leaderboards are screwed too. Sometimes when trying to access the boards, I get a hang or struggle to find a game.

If you play with a full time it's so much better. Have you tried hardpoint? seems to be the best mode so far
 
I only tried the maps on the custom mode but quite liked them. As all the guns are open on that from the start I tried a few and when I got to the SCAR with a couple of attachments it was laughable. It was as easy to hip fire accurately as down the sights.

The trouble for me now is any time I fire one of these up I think I'd rather just be playing an unbroken COD4 or MW2, rather than flashy KS and terrible menu systems.

I think this game it's time for me to admit the game has moved on past what I want to play and just give up. Not that I'm saying it's the wrong direction, just the wrong one for me. It's made to appeal to masses of people who don't need to practice or put effort in to get better.

You might like it, I didn't think it was tragic like MW3. I just thought I'd rather be doing something else. I only got it to play combat training every now and then, but they have gimped it so I can't be bothered.

I have no stomach for P2P gaming anymore and won't suffer it after gears, which for all it's flaws hammered home to me the utter nonsense of Lag compensators and host advantage.

TBH I shouldn't have bought it, an impulse buy like I usually do, but I've sold it and cannot even be bothered with a run through of the same old SP again even for gamerscore :)
 
Well, after watching a number of Black Ops 2 youtube vids, i still don't want it. So if in future I want a quick COD fix, i will put MW2 back in.

There is a Combat training playlist in find match > combat training where you can earn full xp up to level 10 and half XP there after and everything isn't unlocked. It is mixed humans and bots though.

Yeah, that's not what I wanted. Again my fault not theirs but I assumed it was going to be like Blops 1 where you could play the bots with separate leveling up. I didn't want to play with humans with my connection especially as I play it offline a fair bit :)

No big deal, I lost a few quid, next time I will pay more attention :)
