I still think its the SIM lock file, i bet if that was renamed to the same file name from the ee firmware, it may work. If the file is a different name it may not overwrite it because it has to be the same name, just like the other files.

I would try this but unable to find a red or yellow to buy

Can I just say that this thread had been very good natured until the last 2 pages. From what I can read gilesjuk didn't state anything originally other than "some reviews had said" that battery life was better than android, clearly implying it wasn't his own opinion and he certainly didn't lie as you suggested!

Gilesjuk has been a pretty damned good contributor to this thread and it has been clear from the start he is no fanboy. I suggest you wind your neck in a bit tbh and stop with the petty insults.

I wasn't trolling you were lying, there are no such reviews that state what you implied. I have been from Symbian to Meago to IOS and Android so yeh let's all have a peeing contest on how many products we have used. Either way I don't like it when people try to mislead, so yeh Ill leave the thread. My original intent in here was to merit Nokia on the quality of it's hardware. Sorry for flying off the rails a bit much.

Just went outside and took a couple of pictures.

Something really is not right with the camera, just looks wrong.

Camera on Auto default settings, flash off, files from phone to imageshack with no editing or compression.

Wonder how long until Nokia fix it and if people with the "custom" EE/P4U firmware will have to wait longer while they verify the update?

I left the file the same name, as for re-doing that line 12 I didn't try it without i'm afraid so not sure if you need to do it...

My last phone was a note 2. But i also have an iphone 4 too...

My battery was terrible the first 2 days (probably because I didn't put it down for more than 5 minutes...) but this working week so far it's been much better with about 1/3rd left at the end of the day (average an hour of calls etc...)

I think they look good but there is a slight lack of sharpness to them unlike the iphone 5/4s. I do feel the same way, but what I will say and correct me if you feel differently is that I feel the colour representation is far superior to other smart phone. So much more realistic in my opinion from the shots I have taken.

i have ordered from t mobile ove the phone myself..at first iw as told they would reciev the phone on the 16th november(~ this friday) second time i rang the bloke said in the next couple of weeks.it seems to me that they dont know what they doing.i am very frustarted as i have been given different dates.. well im gna see this friday to see if they have got them and if my order has been processed.
does anyb ody know if a EE store does the ful monty on t mobile 3g plan for £49.99 for the phone and £36 p/p.. ( in which i got over the phone?

Eeeeew .. that's rubbish compared to my N8.

Why so different to the ground breaking camera they're advertising?

Yes I agree, I am no photographer and I don't know any of the technical terms but if I zoom in a little or even just look at it at 100% size there is no sharpness to things at all.

The colours do look good though, especially on the big 30" Dell.
 
Mine is going back...Whatsapp on it is terrible...truly awful...
Its clunky and barely usable...

If you have more than one gmail account, it does not allow the second gmail account to be synced instantly...the minimum time it will check for content is 15 mins...
Its pretty poor...

That'll be the fault of whatsapp. If you add the gmail account as "Outlook" (exchange) then they work fine (or at least, do here)
