Yes. I got this deal on Monday from the EE store on my local high street.

They also reduced the phone price to £29 and gave me a wireless charger.

I think we all need to take into consideration that some people just do not get on with certain bit of hardware and software so the littlest of things are the biggest of problems. Doesn't mean they are big problems but to them they are, Whatsapp is renowned for being awful on WP, however this sort of scenario is common on all platforms with a varying amount of apps. I am frustrated I can't us a Natwest app on WP or a decent first party facebook app. But I can not bash the OS or hardware, it is beautiful, well made and suits me to the ground. App support will come but some of us just need to be a little patient.

The second time you phoned you got through to a South African call centre, they're utterly useless and don't give a crap and generally know nothing.

The welsh call centre said Friday (originally).

I'm pretty sure you can pick them up from the EE store on t-mobiles full monty tariff.

was the south African named angel?

For those of you following my battery-related dramas, Nokia drive had automatically allowed background running, so i guess that is what caused such massive drain. Hopefully.

Yes I agree, I am no photographer and I don't know any of the technical terms but if I zoom in a little or even just look at it at 100% size there is no sharpness to things at all.

The colours do look good though, especially on the big 30" Dell.

Looking at them 100% is totally unfair. Many compacts, indeed SLRs if you don't get the settings right, cannot deliver when pixel peeping at 100%. Considering they're photos from a mobile, they're not that bad.

Were they taken in full auto? What settings did it use?

It would be worth stopping Nokia Drive from running in the background from settings. Any other unnecessary apps too. That should help with battery life.

I dont know what platform you have used whatsapp before on, but on wp8 it looks antiquated...very poor notification system...To me, it looks awful...
I, going to jump ship and wait till the apps/software mature a bit...

Well on my Dell the res is 2560x1600 so looking at 100% is hardly pixel peeping, just looking full screen.

Everything was on default auto settings with the flash set to off.

When you buy a phone because it is meant to have the best camera it is a little disappointing that it doesn't deliver right from the box.

I'm a heavy whatsapp user so the comments above about whatsapp not being useable is bad news :-(

Oh man. All this has put me on a downer :-/

Used it on my L800 its fine, really, nothing wrong with it.
But seeing as you seem to get worried about every single sole negative on this phone, im going to suggest you dont buy it.
