You can see it from the windowsphone website then go to my apps it has a complete history.

Yeah but on the phone apps etc are still listed.

There wasn't on WP7.5, proper pain in the ass! Apps you have installed etc, still show in the WP Store as well.

As above suggested, logged into the WP page, and its all there and you can click from their to reinstall to your phone!

lol...but its not working right now.

Exploring a bit more, the windows Phone page is excellent.

First full day of use and the battery lasted about 10 hours after a full over night charge from 0% to 100%. Would definitely say it got more use than normal being a new toy and all that, but certainly nothing excessive.

It's had another full cycle so will see how it goes tomorrow.

I have a surface too and if you plug the 920 into it then you will be able to fully sync the phone and tablet. The Surface will download the Windows Phone app.

Plus you can charge the phone through the Surface.

I cut up a SGP Note 2 screen protector and it looks just about alright.

The Windows Phone App take care of all things media, and Apps within it, but their doesnt seem to be anything for Contact management.

OK cool. You guys made me realise I hadn't even plugged it in to my laptop yet... and I didn't even know there was a Windows Phone app!

No its doesnt work and it actually downloads to tell youu his before diverting you top the WP website to your account, and thats not working either.

In regards to contacts, you can link your Google account to your live account to get the contacts right?

Yes you can do that, also with hotmail, Face book etc, all or just the ones you want to use for contacts.


What I woudl say is a small thing, would have been nice if the Music Tile looked different from the xBox green, and not have Album covers etc.

Was going to go for the £399 payg deal at EE but some one has mentioned that my tmobile sim would not work in it due to it being locked to Orange.

I guess this is the point where I just give up trying to get this handset.

Hi guys Orange payg Lumia 920's from the ee store work fine with T-mobile and ee sim cards and or 4G ready

I got one yesterday from the ee store locked to orange for £399 with free charging pad and headphones. It works perfect with my T-mobile sim! Orange T-mobile and ee are all the same network and new phones from ee stores work with all 3 networks

That might tie in with me in my account on the webpage and not pushing Apps to my phone.

Actually tell a lie..tried it again, and as I clicked on the reinstall app, it came down onto and installed to my phone.

I still think somebody needs to try and change the name of the "NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A" in the default firmware image to the EE name and then change the reference in "RM821_059R1W4_1232.2110.1244.3011_094.vpl" I am sure it is not this easy but you never know. I am just not brave enough to do it, plus I can't get these bloody drivers sorted.

I would do it but haven't got the phone yet.....

I have ordered an unlocked SIM free one, but i'm tempted to get one from p4u and see if this would work, this would save £150 if this worked. Its got to be this SIM lock file..... Come on it says SIMLOCK and the EE firmware sim lock name has EE SIMLOCK in the name.
