Been trying to get my money out of this by playing Kill Confirmed and Hard Point, they both work pretty well on the maps because they're not quite as much of a mess as Team Deathmatch but don't rely on the maps being well designed like some of the other objective modes.
Domination is pretty hopeless on all of them which is a real shame as it was my favourite game type until now.
The guardian scorestreak is pretty powerful, stick it in a narrowish corridor and it is effectively blocked off as anyone trying to run through will get killed by it even if no one shoots them on their way through. Turrets seem to have a longer life as well and knifing doesn't destroy them anymore so they're actually quite a good reward now.
I can't get into the SP campaign, the terrible AI really does show its age (firing rockets at point blank range, running past your teammates to knife you whilst your teammate watches, etc).
I do like the option to adjust your loadout and graphically they've eeked out about as much as this engine has to give I think! It's a shame that the first few levels are actually quite a mess graphically as it makes picking out enemies pretty hard.
I'm finding it best played in small bursts of 3-5 games, anymore than that and I feel my frustration building past "that's annoying, I'm sure I'd gone around that corner" into "what a load of $%$@ing #$#$, that was a whole magazine for %$^@'s sake".
IMO it's better than MW3, about on a par with BO1 (would be better but for the maps) but not as good as MW1 or 2 by some distance.
