I really like this phone and all its features but the drawbacks of Gmail and push notifications are really letting it down. Think I'm gonner go back to the 4S for the time being till the issues in WP8 are sorted. Hopefully it wont be too long. I love the Photos and SkyDrive integration though. That's superb
 
I'm looking forward to WP8 updates. All i want is a MUCH improved Facebook app (total inconsistency with notifications and poor loading times, infact im missing things all the time because im getting no notifications) a better overall notifications system, and why the hell are we limited to 6 tabs in ie10?? The 920 could easily handle way more!!
 
The more I use mine the more I'm impressed with it as a tool to do my day to day stuff with minimum fluff, flash and fuss.

Not the most attractive phone or OS in the world but for me so far streets ahead in core functionality and getting better each day I discover something else I'd not realised.
 
Win8 is deffo slick though. A breath of fresh air coming from iOS. The phone is very classy too. The screen is awesome and I'm loving the extra real estate.

I can only see the phone and the OS getting better!
If anyone is on the fence i suggest you buy it because it is a great bit of kit!

As for it being heavy.......Jessica Alba has one.....and shes a girl :)
 
i showed it off to a few guys and phone shops today. they were really wanting it too I must say :)

WinPho always had the potential but people always kept putting it down because they just didnt know how to use it or find things or the phone firmwares would have problems.

its a great OS. love it. Just wish mine was unlocked!

that is good.i ordered on the 9th november.i rang up today after seeing this post to ask about my order..the woman said its still in processing.
did u order over the phone.and is it on contract?

btw if u hav to sign for it and show i.d please let us know tomorrow.as when i get mine i might be at work :(..hopefullu they send me a text the night before so i know.
a tthe momemnt we are short staffed at work.gna pull a "sicky" lol
 
Store seems to be up the left again, something needs to get sorted with this, its the current broken link how many times for me the store just isn't working or the various services surrounding it dont work, then do..then dont..then do.....
 
Has anyone on T-Mobile got their MMS to work? It just won't work for me; I tried the APN settings published on their site, but no luck.

Would appreciate it if someone could help me sort this out.
 
Sim invalid

Today I got my White Sim free from expansys, really amazed by how polished the os is.
However, when I put my Giffgaff or three Sim in I get a message with SIM Error and that my SIM is invalid !!!

What is that, should I return it ??

Using GG and had no problems, though sending sms seems to be a bit hit and miss. Did you out the sim in, Leaving it in, turn the phone off and on again.

Yes I tried that, I even restored the device. However while going through the setup wizard (after restoring ) I noticed that the phone recognised the sim for few seconds and even showed the G sign but the Sim invalid message appeared again.

Any suggestions ???

do you guys think its worth me keeping the p4u phone even though its not unlocked? I want it unlocked... just curious to know what the chances are of an unlock being discovered...
