Sneaky *******s only have the purchase date from 14 days + ago. Got a 6 day wait before I can apply then... Anybody tried putting a fake date in and had it accepted?

Yup. Just because it accepted doesn't mean that the application will be successful. At the end of the day if they don't send me one it's no big deal. But it helps smooth over the problems you get with a new phone.

Was charging my phone on the wireless charger and my phone got really hot, a restart of the phone later an it's okay now. But there's certainly a few gremlins with this phone around the battery.

Yes I bought it from Expansys, I've called them now and arranged a refund.

I've noticed the sim card slot gets jammed a little, seems very tight.

Make sure the sim is completely flush, pop it out and back in a few times.

I noticed this with a model in the store, my sim wasn't recognised for ages and i had to insert - reinsert multiple times before it worked.

Also as far as im aware from my own experience with the two phones in our office and in store you cannot reinsert a sim when the phone is on. It has to go off to recognise.

Anyone elses phones make a popping noise when the top is pushed in, just a bit right of the headphone jack? My one does, but I don't know if that constitutes a replacement, seems such a small thing but I did pay £459 for the phone so I am hoping for very high build quality!

Yep I have the same on the top near the headphone jack. I just accept it not sure what else you can do as probably all of them will make it.

Hmm, it would appear I can't claim till my 14 day cooling period is over, as of today it's up till purchased on the 2nd November before you can redeem. I have 7 days to wait then...

Edit: I put the 2nd of November and it went through without a hitch. Looks like the 14 day thing isn't a must.

Mines near the sim card slot, the rest of the top is ok. Pushing it down hard and clicking the sim card firmly in place stops it though.

Let us know if it gets approved, quite tempted to do the same. I am not a patient man!

Interesting - trying to claim charger. It's asking for a day of purchase but it won't let me put anything later than the 2nd of November. Also, can only choose white and red.

Edit: Like Mr. Jones, I put the 2nd and it went through. I chose white... since there wasn't much choice!

Edit2: From the T&C 5. The offer can be redeemed by visiting www.nokiafreecharger.com, 14 days after purchase and entering the unique code printed on this sticker and IMEI number which came with the phone (found on the side of your Nokia box). It might get rejected, we'll see. Also I didn't have a sticker, just the IMEI number and it worked fine!

It says you're supposed to wait 14 days, to ensure you haven't returned the phone. Bit annoying that you can only choose from white and red, but it is free so i guess we can't complain...

Mine does too. Seems to do it at the bottom as well.

I put my phone order in on the 31st Oct, which technically means I'm not eligible for the free charger as that is for orders from the 2nd Nov. I put my details into the site and it accepted them, so just have to see if it gets rejected...
