Was going to get a refund on my 920 from Phones 4u and get the £399 deal but none of my local EE stores had stock, one told me they had been told not to sell SIM free. Figured that they wont probably get much PAYG stock in if they are trying to push contracts.

Just decided to get an exchange, ok Im paying £50 over versus EE but I've got a non clicking phone (was starting to really bug me!) and I claimed for the charger for the faulty phone and now ive got this new one, maybe ill get lucky and have two chargers arrive!

Plus i just complained to Xbox that my music pass wasn't activating on my phone because i had reached the limit of devices, and got a month for nothing, so all good id say :D

Which £399 deal?

Thank you kind sir!

It would be nice if pressing that toggle once worked as it does already and holding it toggled vibrate on or off.

Also has anyone who put details into the nokiafreecharger website had any email contact from them at all? I only got the splash page at the end, haven't heard anything since ...

Can anyone recommend a decent Facebook Messenger app? So why is Facebook showing no love to the WP platform? Not even an official FB app is a little strange.

Have you tried the integration with FB into the messenger hub (not the Microsoft Facebook app). It should let you use Facebook messenger or MS Messenger like text messages

Seriously, out of all the deals available for Orange, EE and T-Mobile, T-Mobile seems to give the worst. Wouldn't it be better to just jump over to Orange or take an EE deal?

Uber fail.

There are stuff that makes it not on par with what a 'day to day' user should have. No phone profile for situation that even the age old 3210 had (Meeting, Loud, Vibrate Only).

I won't call it uber fail, for the short comings, there are plenty of positive that make it better.

By the way, Orientation lock not available for when I browse IE when in bed is annoying.

I remember all the abuse on the iphone about there not being a cut and paste when it launched - like everyone said, get all the basics in there first and foremost, and MS haven't done it.

On an OS which already has a significant lifespan in previous incarnations, there really is no excuse for the basics being missing.

I wouldn't really class all that as basics? Especially the phone profiles, I didn't even know people actually used them even on the old ones... Ring and silent is all most people use...

An orientation lock not a basic need ?

People dont just stand up when using their phone. You lie down, the thing keeps swivelling the screen and becomes unusable.
Pretty basic thing to implement that people need imo.

Well I never even noticed.
