Show us your kitty cats

Every kitten / young cat I've homed, battered the hell out of the Christmas tree. That'll teach me to buy baubles from Harrods!

Good job I have only bought £2.50 bauble packs from Tesco then :D

Edit: Actually, thinking of Christmas, are any of you buying presents for your little furry friend?

I have seen this bundle pack on zooplus which I am going to get for Snoop:http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/pet_supplies_specials/gift_sets/cats/203555

Was going to get the play board and a laser pen anyway so for an extra £3 and a bit quid I think im getting a bit of a good deal :)

Our cat hated cat treats, he had an advent calendar that he turned his nose up at so the dog got 2.

For christmas he gets about an hours free reign on all the left over wrapping paper (very funny to watch) extra string play time (if he wants) plus an extra meal of the salmon food he really likes.

Laser pens would be fun though! Every cat would get entertainment out of them

Clearly not Dreamies...cats love Dreamies...if they dont then they are not proper cats*

This is Snoopy's first Christmas so I am not sure if she knows what to expect lol :p

*probably not true

Haha! I'll get Tim some later and see what he thinks... Though he has gotten comically fussy on his food, has to be whiskers steamed fish or he looks grumpy.

Oww!

Snoopy is fussy too...she wont eat any human food at all. Tried her with cooked and raw real meat and fish and she wont touch it...she used to like Whiskers but then she went off it. Also tried her with high quality food and she refused it also...Felix Sensations (meat variety pack) Go Cat and Dreamies, she wont touch anything else

Actually she likes cheese  I know she shouldn't eat it, but I found her with her head in a packet of pre grated mature cheddar on night and now everytime we get the cheese out she fusses for a few strands...strange cat

Our little chap is growing so quick. Seems like only yesterday he was a squeaky ball of fluff.

Dreading a Christmas tree, I might just not have one as there's only me here.

Loving all the pics of growing kitties and cats. Mine have been hilarious again this week. I got some flowers delivered from Next in a box, and they've had endless fun with the box. Dave in particular, likes to coax Lola into the box, and then attempt to murder her. :D

Lola on the other hand, likes hiding in the box, and then jumping out on Dave when he walks past. :D

I'm brushing Dave every few days cos of his long hair, he really likes being brushed, and when i'm doing it he nibbles on me in a kind of affectionate way. It doesn't hurt at all, and is actually rather sweet

Love them :)

There's only me who's gonna see it (unless people visit) and i'll spend my life stopping the cats from swinging off it! :p

We sometimes shut our cats in at night, but my wife's cat has worked out how to unlock the cat flap. To combat this and the ensuing racket the cat makes trying to escape, we put the litter tray in front of the cat flap (one of those full on space toilet-esque covered affairs). The cat soon worked out to slide it out the way. So to combat this situation, we put a chair atop the litter tray. The effect of this is that the chair apparently distorts the top part of the litter tray, which as we found out today causes the door to jam shut. With the cat inside (cat was fine).

Oops. :D

Lol :D Cats can be very very clever when they want to be :)

Me and Snoopy play hide and seek :D

I swear though that she is a Weather Cat. As we dont have a cat flap in our back door, she has the choice of stopping out all day or staying in when we go to work.

The last few days she has stayed in - running to the top of the stairs and peering down at me as if to say "I'm staying in here, and you can't stop me Mummy". Needless to say we have had a lot of rain in either the morning or the afternoons this week, but today she made a very confident move to the back door and decided that she will be out today...and its still dry out!

I think she has Mystical Meteorology Powers

@knip: I know there is only you and everything but you have to have a tree!! Maybe a small one - they do 2ft trees in Tesco, small enough to have on a table top or something and I don't think Dave and Lola will bother much with it then :) Also are you getting your darlings anything for Crimbo? Please tell me you have gotten them an advent calendar??

I'll think about it, just (and i'm really not trying to sound melancholy) when there's only you that's going to see it, I do wonder what its for. I usually just put cards up (I'm gonna have to hang them bloody high now though :D )

And yes, they have Dreamies advent calendars. :)

I went to a different pet shop yesterday, and got some new food for them to try. They now have applaws kitten food, and natures choice kitten food. They wolfed the applaws down last night. Dave isn't really the fussy one, and will usually eat most of what I put in front of him. The only time Lola looks really excited about food, and scoffs the lot is when I give her James Wellbeloved, otherwise she just picks at her food. Hence me trying new stuff to try and get her to enjoy her eating.

I had to make an actual small door complete with hinges, frame and padlock that surrounds the cat flap. The "door" is made of a kitchen end panel so it looks good. We had to do this because Murray can batter his way through the cat flap.

When we first realised we blocked it off with some plywood that was wedged in place behind 2x 5litre water bottle (full) and a dining room chair. We got back one evening to find him in the garden looking really sorry for himself and drenched. He had moved all the furniture out of the way enough to smash his way through the flap but then couldn't get back in as the flap wouldn't lift up because of the chair.

Aww!! I got this of Lola and Dave at the weekend. Love the bit where Lola's like "I didn't say you could stop!" :D
