Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

Er, are you sure you're not getting mixed up with the brown cash drops that Rats drop if they've stolen it from you? The only reason you'd lose money is because they stole it and you didn't kill them before they stashed it.

Ahh thanks for explaining that, playing as zer0 so never been close enough to them for them to steal from me - thats harsh though for them to nick so much money :(

Zero doesn't stand a hope in hell in that Torgue Arena DLC, I'd have to use Gunzerker.

BECAUSE Zero still hasn't finished the existing arena fights, he just cant do it and they look nothing compared to this DLC

I had no trouble with the first arena fight in Torgues

i found it easier than Finks Slaughterhouse which i still havent completed

I wish there were more than 35 slots TBH(31 in the stashes and 4 equipped),as I have bought all the upgrades.

Has anyone use the Cheat Engine or the Gibbed borderlands 2 save editor to increase their backpack size?? I used a save editor to do so in Borderlands, will this work OK in Borderlands2 and will it bork any of the achievements??

Thanks!

I have not finished the main mission yet - does it affect any achievements??

yes i expect you'll loose your badass ranks/achievements on the right hand side of the menu...because you deffo do with the other not to mention cheats ;)

get what you want in Sanctuary and dump the cheat, but before you do save your original ``Profile.bin`` file and replace it back later on, when you do this you'll get your Achievements back

yea i cant finish it at all, i cant get past the last level, 3rd wave, i'm probably too old for it now, because when you get older your rection time slows down quite a bit, there's just too many for me to take on, sad but probably true:(

FAR CRY 3 will probably be a more ``mature`` shooter, BUT it deffo wont be as much fun or as good for snipering as Borderlands, because my favourite 5 replay areas are better fun than any other game i've played, i do the Sawtooth Couldron about 10 times a night, i just keep going back there :D

BL2 is far from perfect, the 2nd playthrough is truly horrid, but when you've finished it's pretty good.

i hope with BL3 that they dump this 2nd playthough and get rid of this awfall levelling up Krap.

i'd have it as a nomal semi RPG shooter, but with no loot, i'd have the Weapons like any other game just far more of them, i.e not one sniper rifle, 5 of them.

i'd get around this lack of loot by improving the game technically, after all, nobody complains about lack of weapons in FEAR/ CRYSIS do they.

BL3 will still be insane fun, IT HAS TO BE, just far more user friendly with easy/ medium/ hard/ trauma mode, in fact, i'd make BL more disturbing, it's too flipping tame for me

So you basically want Bl3 to be nothing like Borderlands 1/2 and be a generic FPSRPG
No loot?!

yes, no loot but many more guns/ shields than a normal game.... same mad game though.

the important thing to get right is not to have a repeat 2nd playthrough, just make it one very long game

nope, it doesnt

that'll only happen if you screw around with the badass ranks/skills. It's never happened to me.

Anyway, hacky trainer stuff:

thread: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=557381&start=2355&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

A user by the name of technojacker keeps an up-to-date trainer which can be found here
https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B...VjV0U/edit?docId=0B_f11g1DlLhDVmhWMUxfN3RFOTA

There's a link in his sig on page 158 for anybody weary about the direct link.

download that, start the game and run the trainer. With teh game running, click on enable (in the trainer). drop back in to the game and run around a bit which allows the trainer to sort itself out, then back to the trainer and look here:

bl2trainer.png

where it says 200, that's the backpack space. Change that to whatever you like. With the backpack space, since the last update, it gets reset to 27 (i think) on every start so you'll have to load the trainer and do this every game if you want to keep the expanded backpack. If you dont, you'll keep the items in the backpack however you want be able to use them.

The trainer does a whole tonne of stuff, like modify the chances to drop legendary loot for example, or teleport to places you wouldnt otherwise be able to reach, or bypass the raid time-lockout, or trick the game in to thinking 4 players are playing, or modify what gets spawned from an Varkid egg to do this:

:p

It's all good fun modifying the game IMO, but try to avoid using it to change your stats - it's quite easy to ruin the game. Stick to the cool stuff :p

edit:

Oh, and this:

Third person mode!

Too old im 52 you are never too old :)

you're exactly the same age as me :D

oh no you're never too old to game, i'm just not as fast as i once was.

i used the 250 golden key weapons cheat about a month ago, but you only get the normal stuff, you wont get legendaries or Conference Call, you just get massive normal guns, it looks like about Level 55

does this make much difference ?.... yes but you'll still drop all the time, because you do not get powerful shields.

the guns feel about right now, i.e one headshot to kill, rather than 2 or 3, but the big improvement is the shottys/ rocket launchers

Any try this:

If you're on the PC you can go to directory of the game then go to DLC, then premium club, then open the WillowDLC.ini with Notepad and edit it to:

[GoldenKeys]
+SourceId=254
+NumKeys=300

[PromotionalUnlocks]
+UnlockId=2

this will give you around 260 keys to use at your will
