Quick question about this... I'm pretty much decided on getting one of these around Crimbo (Crimbo & Birthday Money plus Work Bonus should cover it!! :) )

The 50Gb Dropbox... is that for 'Life' or a limited period??, Can it be joined to my existing 8.5Gb I already have on Dropbox??

Otherwise... roll on Crimbo!!

Can anyone help me with regards to a charger for my Galaxy Note 10.1? I got the one that comes with the tablet but its way too short to have it plugged while in bed. I saw they are selling a 3 meter one at amazon but for the Galaxy Tab. Would it work on the Note too?

Also, is there anything that can allow the tablet to be charged from the PC (i.e. some sort of convertor)?

The cable supplied is a USB cable  which then plugs into the 3-pin plug.

So can you(or anyone else for that matter) confirm that the ends which are plugged into the tablets(Tab,Tab2 or Note 10.1) are exactly the same? Perhaps its a silly question as they seem to be when seen on picture for chargers and docking stations but the ones I came across were listing either one of the models as compatible and not all of them at once.

With the recent discounts and cashback offer I just picked up a grey one of these for under £250 which I am very happy with :)

I was looking into it but it said that it was Jan till you get the cashback. What process have to went through to get it at that price? price matched currys to Tesco?

Curry's would only price match on the white version so I ended up buying from Argos. They have the grey discounted, minus Samsung cashback and quidco cashback plus the £10 voucher on £100 spend promotion they are doing at the moment - all brought it to under £250.

I am not sure if they have any left in stock for delivery, but even if you collect instore (and miss out on quidco) you should still be able to pick one up for £258 if you include the £10 voucher.

hmm that is quite tempting for the Mrs. I got the Nexus 10 and sold both our tab2 7" which we got free with the Samsung Tvs.

Only problem is now when I work away from home she might miss having a tablet. £258 is a very good price for such a high end tablet.

Got mine four days ago from a large online retailor who was selling it for £308. Also got cashback (TCB) and theres the £50 cashback from samsung still to come yet too - works out to be £248 which is a cracking price for one of these.

I've tried to use things like Ipads and other tablets for note taking whilst at work, but this device is in a league of its own tbh! Love the multi-screen feature - it has exactly the apps one needs for multi-tasking and I'm not bothered about the rest tbh.

Its very quick indeed - even compared to my SGS3. At first I was a bit put off by the 1280x800 display (being spoiled by having an ipad 3 until recently), but using it for a couple of days now, I can't say i need the extra res for anything at all!

very good tablet for the price.
