Woman saves fox from hounds

I know foxes need to be controlled and such like, but the pompous ****s sat on their horses make my blood boil.

Jesus, those last 2 dogs! Going to get me one and see how many chavvies with their bull terriers still think they are hard!

So Bull terrier owners think they are hard, I can safely say you know **** all about the breed and there owners.

On a silly note, Bull terriers are one serious tough dog, and is more than capable of dispatching just about any other breed of dog, (not that I would want to see it ever happen)

It is. They were exercising the dogs and they stumbled across a fox, the law is unenforceable and just a political appeasement.

If the dog just "stumbled" across a small child it would be destroyed. The only people who like to think it's unenforceable are the same people who support hunting with dogs.

I have news. The law applies to you just the same as everyone else.

Wow you found a supportive of banning 'fox' hunting website to rebut my statement, here have another to support my statement

http://www.countryside-alliance.org/ca/campaigns-hunting
The Countryside Alliance has worked tirelessly to expose the law for what it is: hard to interpret and enforce, illiberal, bad for animal welfare and a waste of police resources. Thanks to our determined efforts when working with hunts that have been targeted, there have been only a handful of successful convictions

So the countryside alliance have worked tirelessly to undermine a law they know they have no chance of overturning by legal means. How childish.

I've not watched any of the vids as I can't stand seeing or hearing dogs fight. :(

Foxes are vermin and need controlling, they do not deserve the cute, cuddly image that people have of them.

Always well meaning do gooders interfering in things they don't understand.

There is a reason fox hunting is done, the majority of the riders are farmers, guessed yet?

Fox hunting is needed to control the vermin, townies don't knock it till you understand why.

All fox hunting groups around Devon still continue, as soon as your meat prices rise, you'll start complaining.

Its better for the fox to be hunted and shot rather then snared and suffocate.

Would you prefer to see this little guy torn apart?

No, the point is it's not hunting that's been banned. Only hunting with dogs.

I'm not at all surprised the yokels have proposed yet more barbaric alternative hunting methods just to prove that the ban is somehow unenforceable and foxes must die in pain.

Besides, it's too late for debate. The people have spoken, the law should be enforced.

Is that why hunts were actively breeding foxes? Is that why the red fox was deliberately introduced to other countries such as Australia (with disastrous consequences for the indigenous wildlife)?

And yet hunting with dogs is more humane than lamping, Many a fox has died a long slow painful death from a bullet wound than a quick break to the spine from the hounds.
