*** Official Nintendo Wii U thread ***

Looking forward to opinion!

Well the place I've ordered one of mines from is packing the games I ordered with it so got COD, Mario, NintendoLand, ZombiU to mess about with.

Will certainly post up opinions when I recieve it...

Although I do think this email receipt is just being sent early and will be delivered on Friday :( lol

I have one of the premiums on pre-order.
Dont think I am interested in it though to keep it for myself.
So I should really make a decision today whether to cancel the pre-order or to buy it with the hopes of selling at a profit on the auction site.

Think these will be sought after and sell out? I'm having my doubts tbh.

So if only one person in the world goes out and buys a WiiU, and then buys a single game, they're in profit?

I detect something wrong!

Sorry, I though it was pretty obvious that I meant that each Wii U owner had to purchase one game each for the console to be profitable for Nintendo, so take your rolleyes elsewhere.

UK stocks are essentially sold out apparently, this is a staggered worldwide launch so by the time Japan gets their hands on it on the 6th believe me there won't be loads to go around.

People may be willing to pay a bit more ;) I'm betting on it to be honest :p

Plus there are preorders for the ZombiU pack being taken at £399.99 on that big auction site right now and yes they have been selling.

ShopTo have billed me as much as a week in advance before and they will tell you something is dispatched, while holding it back if required by the Publisher.

most important question regarding buying a wii u.

does the wii u version of colonial marines let you use your new shiny wii pad as a motion detector. ?

that's made my investment in a wii u worth it for that alone.
lights off motion tracker in one hand wiimote in the other spare pair of undercrackers on standby

Colonial marines is being billed as the wii u's L4D.

as much as I love my Xbox and ps3 and will no doubt have a new xbox and a ps4 the wii u looks like it will do exactly what the original wii did and bring something new and funky to the market.

only thing its missing so far is some sort of app installing ability (plex app for the wii u pls) give me a new Mario kart and Zelda and I will be a happy camper
