Yeah I do. All info the same (except ip obviously). I never bothered going online tonight to see if it got any better. Just started playing the campaign. Milimeter scanner is fun. Look forward to using it in game when I prestige some guns or rather stop so I can use the latter attachments.
 
What I do like about this game is it is more reliant on gun skill and not bs kills like exploding cars, stupid RPGs. There is the Betty problem but with the engineer class you can counter them and by using them you only get a few kills anyway. It also doesn't feel like you are constantly going up against OP guns like in mw3 - mp7 (was very strong in mw3), dual wield fmg9s. I also don't get into games full of leet 360 scopez snipers, although some of you have? Oh and because kill streaks are harder to get, I am no longer a predator missile magnet, which has to be a good thing.

Those are tests I did last night after the horrific games, I am simply not able to go positive in this game, everyone has the drop on me. Someone last night was 24/0 just knifing and he just warped about in front of me. He was from Spain.

My internet is on about par with that and I don't have that many problems with this game. Yesterday was utter turd for some strange reason though :confused:

I think it may be Virgin that's part of the problem. Their internet is shocking. I lived a friend a few years and we had virgin 10mb. If she was downloading anything I couldn't even open a web page let alone play on my Xbox :rolleyes:

And i'll check my system info later on. If everybody is showing as having 1000MB upload then the game will just be picking anybody as host and it may be why the game played rubbish yesterday.

I have 100Mb from Virgin though...................and the thing is no-one was using the internet last night.

I am 99% certain the problem is with Virgin, I am assessing what other options I have.

I've always had the 10000Kbps available bandwidth. Probably down to the way it interprets what I get upload wise.

If you're on 100mb and are getting those results then you have issues :p More than likely over capacity in your area which happened to me for over 6 months, games were unplayable most of the time.

Have you got a broadband monitor going? Gives you a good idea of the state of your connection.

Yeah, I started one last night but I understand I need to turn something on in my superhub settings as it's currently 100% packet loss.

What do I need to change to get packet loss tests working on pingtest.net?

I'm not sure if it's over subscribed or if something is very broken, I have some noise adaptor attached to the back of my superhub, the engineer when he came out to fit said I am at the very end of the line. Maybe it's just an unstable unuseable connection now, or something is very wrong with my Superhub.
 
Could well be the superhub, do you run in modem only mode through a different router? That's what I do which makes it less crap :p

On the superhub itself you do need to change a setting, this link should help.

If your Superhub is on a newer firmware it may look a bit different, I can't check mine at the mo. Basically you just need to enable respond to ping on internet port.
 
I get 100Mb/s on my speedtest and still have the same issues with players warping about in front of me.

Thats not the issue, if anything the lag comp should mean its easier for him with his atrocious speed, not worse !
 
Done. Ordered BT Infinity. So long Virgin.

Hopefully after 16th January I can enjoy this game, until then it's SP.

I run in full fat superhub mode, don't have any other modem to use.

BT Infinity is good, but don't expect to get the speeds quoted to you. I was quoted 60 out of 80 and only get 43
 
I think they really missed a trick with the strike missions. I really enjoy them and hope they build on that in the future. They could have been excellent if a bit harder and in co-op. I prefer the by miles to spec ops and would have been far better with a team.
 
I have to echo the above, I have a very decent connection but yesterday the lag, connection issues etc were beyond a joke.
Nat type open yadda yadda this is the only time there has been a problem I do not think it is a problem my end on Sky as other players and friends experienced the same throughout the day.

Can only hope it was a one off
