Also as a bonus, my account which I got refunded a few weeks back still works, not telling anyone though ;)

This essentially means I have 10 characters to rotate through.

I'm quite impressed with the additional bits and pieces you can now buy with GC, especially the assortment of barricades.

Regarding Devin - our ex moderator

I'm not sure if you saw that he just posted this new video

I have a few comments on all this :

Normally I wouldn't even comment on this whole deal, but in this case our lawyers were prepared to send him pretty nasty letter and before they did that, I've reached to Devin and basically asked - why you spread all those lies. And he replied to me which was unexpected and explained that he felt really bad that he was banned from being voluntary moderator after spending dozens of hours and being passionate about game for what he thinks was a small mistake.

So we've talked and I didn't even mentioned that we may go do anything legal against him - there wasn't any point in doing this - he offered to apologise and asked to be back helping community. Some of his ideas are actually quite good, so I decided that he deserve second chance.

You may see him on forums, and it'll be up to community to decide if you want him managing community or not. We're making this game for players, so it's up to players to tell us HOW game and community should grow.

Bottom line - we're all humans, we're doing stupid things, and sometimes those things are bad enough so we should pay price, and sometimes they're not that important and people should be given second chance.

Additionally - there is a thread on reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/ that needs upvotes! The thread "WarZ forum mod that stirred up all that controversy last week admits he was lying." is on the front page. Please upvote this so people can see the truth about us and our game. (I would link directly to the thread but reddit automatically downvotes the thread when you do that.)

Hopped on last night and spawned in by the army base, got dc'd a few times but ended up finding an M4 easily enough, some french person came by and asked if anyone was friendly so we said yeh we wont shoot.

Not sure if he has the ESP hack on but he managed to see exactly where me and my friend were at all times, literally as he ran the other side of a fence (I was hiding behind a solid wall) he was always looking at me from where I moved too :(

Nevermind, will have another blast tonight and switch to BF3 again if I die :)
 
I came across a hacker last night. On every server I check the listing to see who's a Bandit and who isn't. Well sure enough there was one!.

Nobody was in near me as i went into SmallVille, suddenly out of thin air this guy just appears in front of me as if he just hopped in. I was instantly killed, he had all the best gear on including armour and an m16. That's not so unusual to be killed by a new spawn, but it turned out to be the BANDIT that was already on the server.

I asked him how did he appear in front of me like that when he was already on the server, he didn't reply.

Sigh
 
they said they are working on it..

there is a anti cheat system in place but it's manual and relies on people reporting suspicious players via email

the new system will be automated
 
Ah ok, just seems to be out of control at the moment. Also a strange move to take Devin back, trying to keep him from saying anything else?
 
Spent a few hours on warz, only about 40 min total game time, was in smallville, guy popped up out of nowhere unleashed a full kruger clip in his chest/head, he jumps at me, hits me with a hammer once and im dead?

Hope the servers get sorted soon, was taking for ever to get a stable connection
