*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

You'll need to spend money on an extra two quickbars though, you're limited to two, and that's just not enough for all your skills.

is that a wind-up?
ive seen people complain about the free 2 play model EA have used here but not read many reasons why but this is a bloody joke if you have to pay for action bar access! LOL!

Just un-equip and re-equip your companions gear everytime you get off your speeder, everytime you travel, basically, anything that causes your companion to disappear, it's a slight chore but it's the only workaround, but they've stated they're on the case so i wouldn't worry about it.

Just finished Nar Shaddaa (not the bonus series, didn't bother starting it till i'm level 31) on my Bounty Hunter, Powertech and my Smuggler, Gunslinger (both are level 29).

I have created Jedi Knight but i cant control my char.Either i am running like a crazy or spamming skills standing still. Can you bind some skill to different buttons?

Is there any advantages if you use an account that you bought the game with? Had to make a new account because I couldn't remember my security question :/

I think you get preferred status if you use a bought account. Not sure what comes with it but i did read that preferred would get be getting the 4 hotbars instead of having to buy them.

anyone else find this game rather tedious? playing with a friend in same room, one's a jedi one's a trooper and doing almost all together, but really aen't enjoying a lot of the game. just finished nar shadaa, will this game pick up much. as a trooper this game does not feel like a star wars game, and even as a jedi it's only just scrapping by as one. i also find the scenery rather dull, with just so many bad guys stopping you from running a to b to c to b to c to a to b to d to a to d to a to d. bloody annoying is what this is. we only really want to do the story missions but fear how hard it'll quickly become if we skip, we.'re currently lvl 24.

when does this game "end"? level 50 approx?

When you get to a new planet, do your class quests first. Mix it up with some pvp, flashpoints etc and if you still below the level for the next planet then do the normal quests.

I do that and it works well. Especially if you doing alts.

think I might have to return and carry on with my characters story lines.

PvP on this wasn't my kind of thing, to WoW like. I'm used to the rush of "lose and not only do you die but you lose your stuff!" :D

the solo stories were worth the money I purchased the game for, it just wasn't worth the on going monthly fee's.

I'm not sure if the new f2p is free to download and play or if those of us that purchased the game get something special etc, but returning for free and playing will be worth it, if I have the time.

Gunslinger or Scoundral?

I'm tempted to go scoundral because it's always the least played.

I'm a pure pvp player, very rarely do anything else.

It seems basically go scoundral if your gonna heal, if your gonna do damage go gunslinger, am I right?

Gunslinger, it compliments the Smuggler class because it uses the cover system, if you go Scoundrel, you will hardly be using cover and to me it's a waste.

Go for Dirty Fighting too and 1 point in cover screen.
