EDIT: Oh yeah, the ban didn't really have anything to do with you shooting Carl either. Although I find it very difficult to see how that was an accident considering we were all running together as a group, he had said he was playing under the name "the bandit" several times prior to it, and also you were using an ESP, so you could see his name. I was willing to let that one slide as I do understand that even though the circumstances were ridiculously unlikely, accidents do happen. It was the blatant cheating that followed this that got you banned.

I've been telling people for AGES that ocuker's do cheat/hack on servers and it's no wonder that every time a server gets posted on this forum that it becomes a hack fest.

Shame :(
 
As players, how do you find the game?

I love the trailers and would really like to buy it, but feel I should wait till after Christmas. Either way, it looks amazing, but would like 1st hand experience from you guys and what you think.

OK, so I have been playing this solo for a couple of weeks now, loving he concept more than the attitude of most random players.. but it is what it is.

How would one go about joining the OCUK Clan? Got a spot for me?

Quick overview from my own perspective. Obviously others may/will disagree.

I personally like the game and especially the concept. It has the potential for a very good social, interact with a group style of play. Equally you can merrily plod along on your own, lonewolf type of thing but be prepared to either die a lot or crawl about in bushes etc a lot if you're on your own.

The game is by no means finished so there are glitches, faulty scenery and such like as you would expect from a 'work in progress'

The biggest down side is simply the hackers and thus far the devs inability/reluctance whatever it may be to adequately deal with and punish them.

I think as long as you go into the game with open eyes, i.e. you accept it's still in development then you can have quite a bit of fun.

Oooo, like the new patch.

New music and sound FX are far better.
AKM now has an automatic fire mode and the mags have changed to 30 bullet mags. EDIT: Fail, I picked up an ak74, lol
Finding Krugers everywhere.

I'm playing KOS at the moment and it's amazing the loot you can find in an unarmed persons backpack, especially ammo :)

You get to play now with the survivor package (unless they already removed that option), but you will be able to play.. thats how most of us are playing
