Never seen it before and just starting to watch it through from series 1, bought it on DVD, what's everyone's opinion IFAD it?

On third episode and only thing I'm disliking is the ******* annoying beep thing that's obviously off when it was on tv for the breaks

I love 24. Seen it all.

I reckon season 3-6 are the best.

Season 1 for its shock/new style factor then seasons 3-6 definitely.

The first series was ok, but turned off the 2nd series when the dopeyness started.

Seasons 4, 7 and 8 aren't up to much. Some bits of the rest are excellent, if very formulaic.

I thought all of it was good until the last series where Mykelti Williamson was cast for the head of CTU playing Brian Hastings. He was awful.

I love love love love love 24. I happen to be sat watching season three with my flatmate right now, and it's bloody brilliant.

Every season is so sick, even season six which is the weakest of all eight, in my opinion.

Watching events unfold in real time, with Jack Bauer driving them... The best entertainment a man can get. :cool:

You can honestly just watch the last 2-3 episodes of each season as the rest has nothing to do with what happens

Although I was always complaining that story lines were getting ridiculous I still never missed an episode and have been thinking of watching them all over again!

Bauer was only on screen for about 18 out for 24 hours (each episode is only about 45 minutes long).

I do love 24, it's the not the best show ever, and gets a bit samey, but it's a great watch nonetheless.

Watch it with someone else, so you can play 'the clock game', where you guess what the time will be after an 'advert' break. One person says a time, the other says higher or lower.

Keep a tally, then at the end of the episode, the loser has to make tea / get beer

I love it. Currently on season 2 and working through the boxset I got for my birthday.
