Would you accept a slightly damaged Box on you new toy?

Boxes on items like this are made with 'dropping' in mind. They will have been drop tested from ~5 foot over and over to make sure the box is good enough.

The only time it may become an issue is you plan to sell it on, a tattered box may put people off

I'm listening, how do you achieve this? Interested in some form of tablet after Christmas.

A 10% off code for new customers and a 7% quidco for new customers combined.

Took the price down to £584(ish)+ £4 postage before quidco which will then be about another £32.69 off when the cashback comes back.

If that's the worst of it, I'd take some pictures like the folks above have suggested (just in case) and then stop being a nancy!

You do need to open a very credit account for the 10% though.

you can also pay by credit or debit card as well :)

made good use of this for 2 ipads earlier on this month :) 10% off and quidco ftw

they also sent me another 10% off code via text the other day.

Thats not much of a dent.

I got a new iPad last week and on the inside, there is a plastic container which holds the iPad, with a gap between it and the box which is bigger than that dent anyway. Plus its also wrapped in a protective film, I highly doubt its damaged from something that trivial.

Ultimately buying anything, not just online, but even in shops to, you have no idea whether something has been dropped, even if its not that obvious.

Works out at a pretty decent discount!

I bit the bullet and opened it (carefully) the white box inside is also dented all the way through to the iPad itself, but the iPad doesn't look to be damaged.

Apple do make a nice box and I guess it is part of the end user experience, however you did buy it at a discount so second rate service can be expected.
Unless you intend reselling (which I imagine is unlikely?) then just forget about it and be happy you saved a few quid.

Or I can sell you my box for £5 :)

It would annoy me but I don't think I'd be arsed enough to return if it were spotless inside, that is kinda the point of packaging after all.

Basically it looks like if I return it I will lose my Quidco and not get it in time for xmas.

I'm disappointed about the box but I think I'm going to have to keep it.

This has to be a troll?

There's no way that constitutes "massive dent". Man up :p

If you are that bothered about it then order it from somewhere else and send the Very one back for a refund under the DSR. Job done.

Are you for real?

Getting upset over a dented box. Speaks volumes about the people buying Apple products.

1st world problems.
