*** Official NBA 2012/2013 season ***

@richthomuk

Mighty impressed with your Bulls, even without Rose they always seem to perform to a certain level. Not that I think we can expect much from Rose once he comes back, I think this year will be a case of just getting up to 100% match fitness/sharpness and making a run next year.

@No1newts

Totally agree with GSW being a good team, that's with Bogut not even playing! Another impressive team out in the East is the Hawks, they're 9-1 these past 10 games.. Beating the likes of OKC & Heat no less.

Lakers play the Jazz tonight, must win game before a road trip where we get to play the mighty Knicks :p

Jazz upped it last night.

Hawks haven't beat the Heat, but hope you're not predicting the future as they play tonight :p

Will Orlando make the playoffs?? They were written off after the Howard trade but they still have at least 7 players who are more than able to produce 15 ppg or more and they average 43/44 rebounds per game, I'd be pretty happy if I was a Magic fan right now, I think they have the potential to go on a big run.

Ok, whats your revised predictions for the teams making the playoffs this year?

West: OKC, Spurs, Memphis, Clips, Mavs, Lakers, Timberwolves, Jazz.
East: Heat, Knicks, Hawks, Bulls, Nets, Pacers, Celtics, 76ers.

Predictions everyone?

East;

Celtics, Heat, Cavs, Pacers, Nets, Pistons, Sixers, Bulls

West;

Clips, Lakers, Thunder, Spurs, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Mavs

East remove Cavs/Pistons and add in Bucks/Atlanta.

Can't see the Magic having enough in the engine to keep going.

West swap Mavs for GSW.

Meh I can't see Dirk being back 100% and they are in decline anyway. Rockets could be a shout if they can get some consistency going but I think Lin/Harden (especially Lin) are hardly paragons of consistency.

Team for the wooden spoon this year? Has to be Wizards, someone good to go with Wall could then be interesting.

Shocked at how bad Cavs are doing but without Kyrie it's tough, plus the rooks need time to gel. They have a lot of potential though with Thompson, Zeller, Waiters as well as Irving. Would like to see the Cavs come good before Kyrie and the next batch of superstars do one! :p

Great win.

Love when Barkley writes off Wase, every time he does DWade shows him up for the fat little angry joke he is. 80% shooting avg over 20ppg for the last 2 games and he's finished?!? Trolololol

Knicks/Nets. Clips/Bulls. GSW/Heat and Wolves/Nuggets.

Couple of good days worth of games that's ignoring another LOL I mean LAL game and OKC.

We play the mighty Cavs tonight :p (setting myself up for dissapointment)

Midnight start as opposed to games starting at 2-3am, I get to watch it LIVE for once.

And the Clips beat the Bulls :D

Shocked we only lost by 5 to be honest, was a pretty tight game but passed up too many good shots.

Philly, Brooklyn, Memphis, Boston, New York, Hawks, Rockets, and Indiana, followed by the Wizards and Bobcats to finish December. If we can get at least 7 wins out of those Il be happy but its gona be tough.

Nice!!! According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Rubio could be back in action against the Mavs this Saturday!!!! Can't wait!!!

Love is still getting burned for his comments the other day, personally I think he's pretty spot on but going public wasnt maybe the best thing to do.

But they did trade away the 10th, 18th and 40th draft picks last year, they picked up Derrick Williams the year before which I think was good business, but they traded away all their other picks. They had Wes Johnson who was starting to find good performances, he was the 4th over all pick in 2010, but they have already traded him away and I dont think any of the 5 other picks they made added any direction to the team in that year. And then you have the draft where they picked up Rubio, but they traded away the likes of Wayne Ellington for some of these draft picks they have wasted after that and Flynn turned out to be a huge flop.

I know its easy to look at draft picks after afew years and pass judgment but The picks and they way they are handed, traded off and to some extent given away you can see why a guy like Love can get annoyed at the fact they now have to wait for Rubio to get back before they can make a realistic playoff push. Most teams that have had so many consistent early picks would at least have some sort of back continuity to the team rather than hunting erratically for FA's during the off season every year.

Anyway I'm not saying the Wolves are in a bad situation and they should be better than they are, I'm just agreeing that K Love has a right to be confused to the teams direction.

All Star voting is such a ******* joke and highlights how stupid your average American is.

First round results are in and Amare Stoudemire is 10th in the voting despite not playing a single game all ******* year! Ahead of Varaejo and even more shockingly Brook Lopez who has been great this year.

Nowitski, Gaslol and Asik all above Randolph!? Jeremy ******* Lin is 3rd in the West despite being a ******* joke! Rubio is in the voting as is Nash above Parker and Westbrook :confused:

Notable misses are the likes of Lillard, Mo Williams, Steve Curry and David Lee amonst others.

Americans are brain dead ******* morons and this is why I hate all star weekend, it's not about who is playing well, it's about who people know. :rolleyes:
