It's not the same in all games though is it. Lag compensation in blops2 is broken, not lag compensation full stop.

I honestly don't see an issue maybe its my connection but i have not been effected by consistant lag comp issues.

on previous titles however its been rampant.

I don't see how it can be broken if people are hitting 48-6 games and such like constantly, maybe im on the good end of it but i rarely shoot and dont kill, and i am not a sniper camping or a runner gunner sub user, i am a assult rifle move and kill gamer... it just doesnt happen that often. it does not brake the game.
 
I do, consistently. I would say around half my deaths (that are not due to me spawning under a lightning strike, or in someones line of sight) occur *after* I have taken cover, gone round a corner etc. I just don't see this in other games, same xbox, same connection.

Even with what you say ... 48-6 constantly. Do you honestly believe you are 8 times better than the average? I would suggest you are benefiting from it.

Your probably right, i have bad days also and sometimes i'll hit a rough patch but i know i am decent as ive always been good at fps and achieved on multiple connections and offline also. I'm usually a 3.0+ ratio on any fps and stats dont lie. i have found black ops 2 easy multiplayer i expect it will get harder in the future when people become accustomed to it, veteran isnt much of a challenge and its getting easier.

However that being said, you mentioned spawning under a lightning strike and being hit around corners do happen to me, the around corner hitting is an issue and i do see it more often when i die than i'd like, but it was worse on previous titles.
The spawning on bo2 is awful.. lag or no lag its just crap , i spawn next to the guy that killed me all the time and i believe that is now built in and revenge is a helpful method of calming a player down and enjoyment,and i think they have cottoned onto that.
I have now started playing this to my advantage as when i kill someone i know that 50% of the time there within 30ft just after i killed them and i'm prepared for it.

Hijacked is a prime example, a map designed where the enemy always spawn behind you, and you have no cover when spawning so streaks like lighting get you all the time just after spawn.

I dont think its because of lag, i think its the spawning of the game that needs fixing, i have not been spawn killed once yet.. and i pay attention to that stuff . however i have been killed by lightning strike a few seconds after spawning, if i had moved another way it wouldent have hit me, its just chance.

I play league and i would recommend to any player having issues to play it as there are less people on it and i find the games go smoother and more B*******t free

I hate being spawn trapped on Hijacked.

Happened to me Sunday sniper covering the spawn spot and you couldn't do **** because he was hiding on the top deck.

Lag comp was broken in MW3 as well.
There has definitely been some changes since MW2 to matchmaking/lag comp/host selection that makes getting killed around corners occur more often.

The main problem is that neither IW or Treyarch will admit to any changes or problems.

I like this game but it does have serious problems. It's very rare I get in games where everything is even. You generally have one team totally dominating and one or 2 players that are getting a ridiculous amount of kills. And i've been on both sides of this.

This.

on core this is the deal most of the time, with players on your team not having a clue what they are doing and losing you the game, a bonus is i get more kills but it has opposite effects also where i get surrounded.

on league your matched with people of equal skill and play type and i find the matches a lot more enjoyable as you need to actually win the match to gain points so people try to complete objectives rather than camp for streaks.
 
League play looks ok but there is so little people playing it?

it depends i'm on team deathmatch at the moment and its between 1500-5000 people, connections are usually good and people generally play fair, its definatly better than normal games as it assesses your style or play and numerous other things to place you in a division and if you play fair then normally your up against people who play like you.

I play all different levels of player but they play a good game, i suppose you could say its a more advanced match making experiance
 
I've just had a quick look through the MW2 thread and I hardly saw any complaints about lag/lag compensation in there.
Main complaints were balancing. And some complaints about the spawning as well!
 
If that was in reply to my question then it made no sense what so ever.....

It does

1 person or 52..... 1Mb or 52Mb download. Makes no difference really if you have a 250ms ping, thats like 15 frames of animation that you are behing and a lot will happen on the enemy character in those frames.
 
I have no idea why they didn't make it like blops 1. It was perfect, did what it was supposed to and made it a good alternative to use for demo and domo if you bothered putting yourself in harms way capturing.

Keeps the kids happy. They will be complaining because they can't get cheap kills when people use it.
