Nope, I'm loving it! Far Cry for me was a better game, but I still think this is awesome!

For anyone who has completed the main story, can you continue playing afterwards? Or is it another FC 2 situation ere I'll have to create a save before the last chapter?

what an awesome game! so refreshing after a couple of years of corridor shooters


OMG crocs though! twice now been wading through a river and jumped a mile out of my chair when a croc has grabbed me eeeek!
 
Hey guys i got a free farcry 3 code with my 7950, and iv orderd it on ubi website, iv downloaded uplay but its not on there? any ideas what i do? :S cheers
 
I'm enjoying the game but am I to presume that as you take all the outposts & raise the flags one by one then no more baddies will appear? so towards the end there is no fighting as everywhere is occupied by civilians ? If so then that's one extreme to another FC2 manic respawns/ FC3 no respawns,
I would have thought baddies would try to retake the outposts giving you the option for fast travel to help villagers defend would have been the best idea

I finished it earlier today, you can go back to explore/collect stuff after you've completed it if you wish. (I went back to do some more of the Trial of the Rakyat games, now that I have more skills unlocked, and managed to beat most of my scores by a reasonable amount :)
 
Just finished the main quest last night and freed all towns today. Don't think ill do the other gethering or trial quests though. Was good for what is was.

does that mean there are no more pirates in the game when you reach the end ?
 
Surprised!

I really enjoyed FC1 and when they released FC2, I was shocked at the complete difference. It was nothing like the original and I got board playing.

I must say though, I think they have redeemed themselves with FC3. It's great to play and once you've found your comfort zone and learned the ropes, it's a fantastic FPS/RPG to play. Personally I find it more interesting to play than 2.

Took me a while to get the graphics settings to play smooth with the mouse & increased frames in fire fights, but yes, I love it!!!

Plenty of more hours to come.
 
I love it when you stumble in to enemy camp sometimes and all looks easy with max 5 guys to pick out. Then something goes wrong they call in support and you have 25 guys to deal with. All hell brakes loose then with a massive gun fight. (like that mission with weed burning - there must have been over 20 guys all armed).
 
I was talking to a friend this morning about one of his missions, he was looking at a camp with 6-7 people through his sniper scope and there was a tiger sat just outside. He shot just to the side of it and the tiger went nuts and mauled the camp!! HAHA!
