The chemicals will break down into a toxic sludge that will mutate in his belly and turn him into Noodletron, destroyer of worlds.

The transformation process should take about 7 days. I guess the Mayans were right. They just didn't know what the cause would be...
 
If it's one of the older style ones with all the added MSG and other goodies then it will taste better than a brand new pot noodle.

Well I've eaten some of it before I read this, I thought it was 6 months out of date for some reason :confused: Jun 11, not Jun 12, yes, year & a half, leaving it now.
 
I thought those things had enough chemicals and preservatives in them that season 7890236783946237894637829423 of Time Team will be digging them up in a still edible condition in 18 million years?

Serious answer: many things have expiry dates put on them just because they have to (tinned foods is a good example, which will last "forever" if kept in a cool dry place). It's dry powder in an airtight container, it'll be fine.

To be fair i would have probably eaten it, but i don't like chicken and mushroom. If it had been a Bombay Bad Boy i wouldn't have minded.

I wouldn't know if i got the trots from the spice or the expiration. So i wouldn't know who to blame...
 
Noodletron lol. I've only eaten about an inch before I realised the 6 month/18month error, should be OK..

I survived on out of date pot noodle for a whole 3 days and nights of Reading Festival 2003, i am still alive and well to this very day.
 
If you make a chicken and mushroom Pot Noodle you can empty out the liquid into a soup bowl and then you can have it as a starter. The noodles then form the main course. I got this tip from the Fat Duck.
