Just a friendly warning here. Corsair PSU's bought in the UK when they fail after the 1 year warranty you need to return them to Holland for RMA if Corsair give you an RMA number (they usually do automatically via email in a few seconds).
Just had my £130 HX750W Modular die totally whilst playing a game luckily it did not take any other components out just died but now naturally when looking into the RMA process as it comes with a nice juicy 7 year warranty (which is worthless IMO
) I find that I must pay the shipping to Holland registered (around £40 because of the weight they are not light PSU's the cables alone weight a couple of pounds).
This is outrageous as it means you have to pay to RMA & get the free P&P on your RMA unit
so if you live in UK & buy a Corsair PSU be aware of this as if you get problems & need an RMA after the 12 months period its going to cost you a lot of money so you may as well buy a cheaper PSU in the first place as these are obviously not built to last as recently I have heard of a lot of failures on Corsair PSU's
No more Corsair purchases from me for sure
I had some Ram die suddenly as well a few months ago
