Avoid Corsair PSU's = You have to pay RMA P&P to Holland which is Expensive!!

Only like 1 model is manufactured by seasonic in corsair range.

You mean the AX 750 and 850, HX 450, HX 520, HX 620, HX 650, TX 650.

Channel Well make the CX 430, 500 AND 600, GS 600, 700 and 800, HX 750, HX 850, TX 950, TX 750, TX 850, VX 550 and HX 1000.

Corsair and XFX are mostly rebranded Seasonic...

The unit in the OP (HX 750) is manufactured by Channel Well apparently.

Wrong. Seasonic only make the HX650, AX760 and AX860 now. AX*50 series has been discontinued and now starts with the AX760. All other AX series are made by Flextronic.

TX750/750M and TX850/850m are made by Chicony power technology.

All other psu's are made by CWT.

See here.

most of them are out of production. As far I remember at looking the corsair suppliers list, they had few Seasonic made PSU`s but most of them were out of production, leaving 1-2 seasonic made PSU`s in production which were low end.

They used to get manufactured by CWT I think but now that has changed.

I've had a 50% failure rate since I started buying Corsair PSU's 5 years ago. (2 out of 4)

OK, so the amount of of failures reported on here is common compared with others (except for Hiper) :p but the failure rate is probably quite small due to the sheer volume of Corsair PSU's sold.

Having dealt with Corsairs RMA service on no less than 3 occasions now hasn't put me off buying their products, having said that I wouldn't buy another of their HX series PSU's for my own PC builds in future.

I don't think that paying £20 to send something as heavy as a Corsair PSU to holland is that steep, especially when I got a more expensive PSU back the 1st time round.

Never had one fail. My oldest one, an hx 620, has been almost continually running since I bought it from OCUK in 2007.
Only time I had a problem was after a move, when I lost the bag containing the modular cables for another one of their psu's. Corsair sent me a replacement set foc after having a chat on the phone with them (can't remember if it was a UK or Dutch number I rang, was a long time ago).
If I'm buying a psu I buy corsair. It's a no-brainer.

Please look at the date.

So? Are you saying that Seasonic have stopped manufacturing all the units listed? Why don't you amend the information with the updated information and relevant UL codes if you know better.

Try checking the list i posted in #23 as it gets regularly updated. The one you listed is hopelessly out of date.
