Overclockers UK website in 2000!

The sad or cool thing (you pick!) is that I can actually build something from that era! I have everything apart from maybe the odd part, like the good old pixiefart deathstar drive lol.

I have:

Globalwin 802 case in beige
Enermax 330watt psu
Abit KT7A-Raid
Barton 2800 socket-a AMD
Globalwin FOP32 heatsink with a delta screamer! (the finger chopper lol)
Soundblaster Live 24 and livedrive panel
3DFX Voodoo 3 (I think?)
512mbs of some branded pc133 memory etc

Good old days :) overclocking thunderbirds with the pencil bridge trick, running delta fans at full pelt and driving yourself mad with the noise lol
Crackling soundblasters because of the VIA chipset having bugs etc.

But I was really chuffed back then :)

First computer component I ever bought (well, my mum bought me it) was from OCuK, BFG 7950GT OC. I was ecstatic Christmas morning 2004 aged 11. Thanks, I'll never forget the 90'C temps and that whiny little fan spinning around like it was going to blast off. hehe :D

AMD Duron 700's modified by ourselves to un-lock the multiplier, pre-tested and guaranteed to 900MHz+. This is a very comfortable overclock for these CPU's and most will achieve higher speeds.

Got mine to 1100MHz, was amazing back in the day. He still lives to this day, running 24/7 in a Windows 2000 jukebox machine

FreeSpeed Pro Athlon Overclocking Card

I bought one from OcUK.
It turned my 550Mhz Slot A Athlon into a 900Mhz super CPU. Was the fastest thing around at the time :)

I still have mine! Stumbled upon it the other day, often do that when searching the mess that is my storage lol. I still have to dig out 3 lian-li tower boxes and who knows what I will find in them.

I found a box crammed with really good fans, shrouds, fingerguards etc! All of them are ball bearing and there are even some in odd sizes like 70mm. God knows were I got all these things from as I have forgotten lol.
