EDIT: Second ever double post, days just gonna get worse I think.![]()
It's to do with the initial cost of the game being different in different currencies, it's not exactly a big deal you just have to be careful.
Nice one, just bought it. My list so far is:
Steam
Dead Island DLC- £0.69
Shogun 2: Dragon War Battle Pack- £1.21
Sim City 4 (gift)- £2.49
Devil May Cry 4- £1.19 (GMG)
Origin
BF3 Premium Service- £9.50 (GamersGate)
How much was it like? I dont think i have seen it any cheaper than £10?
Changed now![]()
I see your point as I do recall some pricing boo boo's on Steam before where a 'bundle' actually worked out more expensive.
Interestingly, that Stalker bundle is not really a good deal, granted it probably wont get any better in this Xmas sale now that it has become a flash sale but I got the 'proper' Stalker bundle that had all 3 games included for £5.19 in July 2012 on Steam! (cant recall which sale this was in though, was it the Autumn/Fall sale?)
So, at £5.74 for only 2 games, thats a bit cheeky of Valve.
Having said all this, Clear Sky that is not included is only £1.99 atm so its not really bank busting money to buy all 3.
Yeah I just went for the bundle + C.S., least thats 3 massive games for £7.73 I'll actually play.![]()
Get the 'Complete Mods' for each game as it really improves many aspects, I believe its on the ModDB website.

Thanks for this, worked out nice for me as traded in some Free games what Green man gaming gave out a while back so ended up paying 70p for Devil May Cry 4
It's not that, it's just that Steam always rounds down.
When the bundle discount is the same as the individual discount in terms of percentage, you're getting two round downs instead of one, hence being a penny cheaper.
£12.99 -75% = £3.2475 which should be £3.25, but Steam gives you £3.24.
Same with £9.99 = £2.4975 > £2.50 but Steam gives £2.49.
£22.99 only sees the effect once though and gives £5.7475, so £5.74. The above items though have both been rounded down, leading to £5.73.
Normally this isn't an issue because the bundle discount tends to be larger than the discounts applied to the all the individual items.
