Steam Christmas Sale 2012

I wish they would have just made The Sims 3 and all the DLC into a bundle for £20-25 or something. I haven't played it since the first one (which I loved when I was younger) and wouldn't mind playing it as I think it'd be great for when I'm just watching TV or SC2 tournaments online since it doesn't require loads of concentration and pausing it doesn't "break" the gameplay like it would in the middle of an action scene. It's always interesting just cheating and building ridiculous houses and stuff too :D.

Buying just the game itself without the DLC, seems pointless, and there's no way I'm going to pay over £100 for the DLC :/.

Oh well, it probably sucks anyway :o.

Edit: Lol, I just noticed that all the DLC has 50 or 66% discounts on it, the pre-sale price of all DLC is £300 :D. I guess there's no way I'll ever be buying Sims 3 then :(.

The price of the sims expansions is just disgusting in my opinion. I own all of them bar seasons and not a single one of them should ever have cost more than £15 at any point and I personally think only the super natural pack and late night should ever cost £15. The rest should be £10 and the stuff packs should be £5. Charging £30 for an expansion that barely adds 1/5th of the content the orginal game has is unacceptable.

Does anyone else think that games companies now make a game and then have a meeting to see what they can make DLC and take out to make even more money out of us?

All except CDProjekt and some of the PC based indies possibly.

Wow Lego LotR is significantly more expensive than it was on Amazon.
