Steam Christmas Sale 2012

Sorry, I should have been more specific: is the overlay/Steam in-game features actually broken? I saw that other thread about AC3 and FC3 on Steam compared to retail/UPlay, and people were saying how none of Steam's usual features work in the Steam versions of these games.

I've heard the same. I saw that it would be better to buy the game retail or even off Uplay and add a shortcut to Steam. I'm not sure though, and I'm wondering if I should buy it from Steam or not too.

You can get it for like £15 elsewhere I think. Although, it depends if you'd want to wait for delivery etc.
Really great game though, I'd recommend it.

I got it for 12 from cjs's Russian version. It's the first time i've ever bought a grey market game and I won't be doing it again. It plays fine but you need to be connected to a Russian vpn everytime you want to play it. Still it's a decent game but I'm not as into it as I was in the Fallout games.

aah well gave in and got Age of Empires III: Complete, for £7.50, the hours I will get out of it is a bargain :D

iv had the disc version of aoe3 since about 2005ish? cant remember

is it worth getting the complete version?

whats the difference as steam give no info at all about what expansions are included
