Steam Christmas Sale 2012

I see Fable III up for 75% off again.

Any opinions on this? I loved the first one and was upset the second never came to PC, but I remember reading some decidedly lukewarm reviews of the third. Worth £7 or so?

Yeah would like to know what people think of this as well?

i really didnt like it if im honest cant remember why now but i played it for a bit and was mega dissapointed it was boring if i remeber correctly and just didnt get on with it.

Well it'd be good if they released new, balanced classes though that you pay for, the f2p MMO's that do that have my respect, none of this rubbish that forces me to have disk space taken up with locked aesthetic content for Joe Bloggs and his super spiky super duper helm.

Pretty sure they want it to be actually f2p and not having to pay to unlock things.

The purely cosmetic items are great and some of them look awesome, much more than just a trim for your armour or an extra spike.

The problem I had with Fable 3 was that I played Fable 2 two years before hand... Not much had changed really and it kind of felt boring and the same. I can imagine the game being ok if you've not played Fable 2 in a while or at all though I guess? It's been a while since I've played either myself now. xD Still need to complete it actually :\

I think one of the optional quests in Fable 3 was a

D&D table-top style game right? Where you were the pieces and someone was guiding you through it and narrating it?
I think that was one of the more enjoyable and imaginative quests out the whole game if I remember correctly? xD

Fable 3 is worth a punt if you haven't played Fable 2, but otherwise it really is 90% the same in terms of combat/mechanics, I enjoyed the main story less than Fable 2 but that's just because it seemed to throw choices at you for the sake of it rather than to push any real narrative.

Played fable 3 on xbox and liked it a lot, really fun game. not sure about pc.

Hmmm. Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like it would be a sure purchase if it were a few quid cheaper, but around £7.50 for a maybe game is a bit more than I'd go for, especially with so much other stuff in the sales.

Anyone interested in Ace of Spades, steam are offering a 4-pack for 16.79 making it 4.19 each. If 3 other people are interested we could split it.

Hey Guys,

I got F1 2012 from the sales, bit off topic but I am using my PS3 controller & Motion In Joy to do so.

The accelerator and brake are really sensitive. What should I be adjusted and where?

Cheers

Edit - Bah, tried something different in google and the answer pops up. Sorry!

Had to have it set as a Xbox 360 controller and it works fine :) Happy days.
