For me so far:

Quake 1: Mission Pack 1 - Scourge of Armagon
Quake 1: Mission Pack 2 - Dissolution of Eternity
Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Very happy with my purchases.

I had to tinker a bit.

Most importantly set number of threads to 2 by changing the following in the fallout3.ini file.

bUseThreadedAI=1
iNumHWThreads=2

Also if you've had a previous installation of the game and have then installed the steam version and tried to run the game it'll crash to desktop with a black screen when you try to launch it. You can get round this by deleting the Fallout 3 folder created in My Games.

Don't log in to Games for Windows when you launch the game either and it'll work just fine.
 
heard very good things about it, and I played the demo on PS3 and was really fun but limited to one map so can't say much about the game..
 
Some bloody awesome deals going around on Steam atm, the flash sales are crazy prices (always are though) currently have many games to play through though so not sure if I should buy more to lay in wait for me to pounce on them and play the sh!t out of them or just to wait until the next sale XD

There is a fix on the steam forum for the game I had the same problem on Win 7, although I don't know about 8, was just a simple paste a file IIRC.

Played over half the game with borked sound.
 
Is tonight the last round of sales? Or is there another lot on Thursday night, too?

EDIT: I just saw - January 5th is the end. So a few more days yet. :D
 
BL2 was worth it at full price IMO, so if it's on sale again I say go for it (assuming you like that style of game and the borderlands sense of humour, ofc).

I think I'm done with this year's sale, unless they put up a special offer where for £50 they install a time warp in your house so you actually have enough time to PLAY all the stuff you've bought.
