ebay item help

The title is not clear, it would be better if you had put BOX ONLY!! in the title and the description - unless you were intentionally trying to mislead people that is ;)

End auction, relist with better description.

These parts all suggest it does include phone

As Rotty pointed out. You've filled out the item specifics for an actual phone therefore you're misleading the buyer into thinking there is a phone included.

It's about time ebay cracked down on this type of fraudulent listing.

thats how it is misleading, its true you can't take account for morons however you can bet bottom dollar you will lose a dispute

Massively Stupid listing

If it is a box, say it is just a box, don't claim it has an IOS operating system and is factory unlocked

People like you shouldn't be let loose on auction sites until you can use English properly.

You don't mention in the listing that only the box is included. If you wanted to be totally transparent you would mention that this is for the box and accessories only and the iPhone is not included.

This is ridiculously misleading, I can't see how you could think otherwise?

Haven't you got a mate that that can put a silly bid on it then between you cancel it, you'll both get your money back, or just contact the winner.

TBH your listing doesn't say clearly it's the box only, it's in the mobile phone category when it should be in the accessory category.

It'll only end in tears.

I thought you had to cancel all bids before ending the auction prematurely.

**Also the person at £43 was probably just trying to get an iphone 5 for £43 not the box as the listing is pretty much pointing at an iphone.

I will cost me time and money to cancel the listing. Why should I pay for peoples stupidity? This morning it was at £43 which I thought it would sell for
It would seem your stupidty is costing other people's time and possibly money.

Which part of your description tells me the phone is not included?

Bad listing on your part, if you are selling a box only it has to be extremely clear in the listing. I.e. "BOX ONLY - PHONE NOT INCLUDED" etc etc.

maybe the OP was drunk when he listed it, he must have been when he bought this anyway :p

"Apple iPhone5 16GB Black/Slate Box with accessories"

You even used a foward slash inbetween the phone and box with accessories as well!!

ha ha. Xmas jumper night we had a few weeks ago, that one was for a housemate.

A guy turned up with one he made - it had 5 sets of lights, xmas crackers, stockings with chocolates stitched on and a singing santa on his shoulder! :D
