But will I be able to use both the graphics cards together? As the motherboard specs say it has 2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16 (PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2)

And I can't cancel it now as I've been waiting for it for so long and it's at my local depot now anyway

I could be wrong, but i think it would be possible.

But it would run on the slowest clock speeds (i.e. the speed of the 5450).

So in essence you would end up with 2x 5450's which equals a 5750 lol

One or two PCIE connectors? 8-pin / 6-pin? That tells you the power the graphics card needs, and basically, it's tier.

id cancel your order and go for a 3570k or 3770k system and put the money towards better graphics

What do you mean by its tier ? Please explain how the tier system works so people who are new to this dont go getting all confused , is it like a card with 2x6 pins is a higher tier then a card that only requires 1 x 6 pin, not sure you mean that as it would be wrong because working off that logic an nvidia gtx 470 or amd 5850 would be a higher tier then the hd7850.

It depends on how much you are recording/wanting to record, as well as the amount of games you will have. It can be external or internal, it doesn't really matter.

yeh i really need a graphics card now :/ old one dont work so im stuck with the 5450 which can just run youtube :L its horrible

Have a look at a 7850 or if your willing to spend more a 7950. You could also look around for secondhand deals.
